Proper 4K gaming with HDR

Want to game in 4K? Look no further than the Xbox One X. The X is incredibly powerful – so your games are super smooth and realistic, with lightning fast load times.

And the Xbox One X doesn't just give you Ultra HD graphics, you've got HDR too. HDR (High Dynamic Range) gives you better contrast on your games. So when you're exploring a dark city scene, or hunting through a creepy mine, you'll see everything in the shadows.

Dolby Atmos sound and spatial audio

Good quality sound can make all the difference in-game. Which is why the Xbox X has Dolby Atmos (the fancy audio software you get in TVs and sound bars). Plug in your headset and you'll get proper surround sound. When someone's attacking from behind – you'll know exactly where they are.

There's also loads of games that are designed to be played in 4K, and look their absolute best on the Xbox One X. Just look for the Xbox One X Enhanced badge on the game.

Compatible with pretty much everything

Don't have a 4K TV yet? Don't worry – the Xbox One X is still going to make your games look better than ever before.

The picture is misleading. That's the one for 24 month All Access deal costing £24.99 per month.

No that was another option in a green box - has a link in it that says learn more which takes you to the application , that was £24.99 over 24 months with option to upgrade after 18 payments from memory
It’s not that obvious if you view on a mobile phone but in desktop view it’s a lot clearer what the two offers are
Ah right there's a "apply now" bit at the top. Didn't notice.
Selfishly I kinda wish these would stop being posted. I can't buy until Thursday when i can be sure i'll still keep getting paid and have quite a few tabs open watching the stock, today Smyths is the last one with stock.

You're killing my hopes of keeping myself occupied through this OP. If there's no stock left come Thursday i'll blame you and aggressively... find a Kindle book to read instead. Grrr.

Want me to buy the last one? And when Thursday comes around you can buy it off me?

ps please can I play it until Thursday
So I the gist of this that when the next Xbox arrives, you get to upgrade to that with no extra significant fees charged and you own it at the end? Apart from entering into a new all access agreement.

If so, is that not a good deal? Unless I’ve misunderstood the terms of the offer.

That's very interesting. I have held off getting one of these because of the upcoming new launch. Saying that, I have read many times that the new console would be in the region of 400-500 quid so not sure how they could honour this. Where did you find this info, can I ask?

Another way to look at it is you are paying £600 (24 x £24.99) to rent the One X until the Series X releases in November/December then they swap it with the new console (have to pay off 18 months worth to be eligible). Whether it's worth it or not will depend on how much the next gen console will be at launch and what normal trade in prices for the One X are at that point.

The "upgrade fee" part is talking about the extra £15 that people upgrading from the all digital version of the One S will have to pay.

Thanks for explaining this. I’d not really seen much info, and you’ve saved me looking to see what the offer was.
Has anyone ordered and had good delivery? How long would I expect to wait?

I suppose if you look at the normal price for Game Pass Ultimate at £10.99/month, then the Xbox One X is £14/month. If you go for the minimum 18 month term, the actual Xbox part would be around £252, so near enough the current cost of the Xbox One X given the current deals.

Obviously the new model will be worth more, say it was £24/month for console end of the equation, that would probably be not far off the retail cost of the console alone. As you've said already, all depends on trade-in cost for the X and what the new model costs.

Guess it works on some level as otherwise it wouldn't be a worthwhile scheme.

Anyway, Very have stock again of the X on 12 months IFC, so better make my mind up quick before they disappear again.

* I have a boxed One S 1Tb that's not been opened. Is it worth getting the X since I already have a PS4 Pro too? *

I didn’t really want one but they came back into stock so I thought I’d better before they sold out again. Well with toilet roll being back in stock now and all that.
Maybe I should have got 2 just in case?
