If the Series X was going to be £250 with a game on launch day you'd have a point, but every primary gen console release since the PS3 has been North of £400.

It's then going to take time for that console's library to build up and those games will take six to twelve months to come down to a price where you don't have to drop hundreds and hundreds to get half a dozen games in your collection.

We're also on a site where for a lot of folk money is tight and £400+ might never be feasible or would put them in financial strife, so if you're looking at £250 as a max spend then a Series X is more like 3 years away than it is six months.

P.S If anyone is interested I can make your console a Hyperspace for Free,
I just gonna need a paint brush and paint starter pack from Homebase.

I can do both, white and black version.39483480-9BT3f.jpg

Black with fibre optic lighting dotted all over. There's a design. This is Jackson Pollock/John Squire lite.
How lazy is this design
Great find! Tempted to upgrade my Xbone from 2012....
Anyone know if a "Fallen Order" console is coming out, as i've seen the controller and hard drive already?

Above deal is well worth it but depends on your patience and how long you can wait for next year
As the next gen XBOX SERIES X will be released and will be much better than this...

Looks like a load of Pollocks to me!
HEAT OP for your endeavor!
Are we waiting for the Jan Sales?
I remember Amex has an offer for microsoft

If £400 is spent then £100 is off , if anyone buy two of them directly from microsoft then it will be lot cheaper than this.

2x£269 = £538
After amex cashback = £438

xbox x - per console = £219

Now I want one! Damn you.
Seriously that would be epic, much better than the square spearmint polo.

There is but it's hard to see from the angle in the picture. Microsoft didn't make an 'all digital' version of the X.

Series X will cost double, estimated £500, the high end one may be more, putting it out of reach for many...
And with few exclusives for months. so comparing apples with oranges.

There's no disc drive as such on the X, it's a slot underneath the overhang on the left hand side of the console. All the X models have a disc drive
Why wait until Christmas Eve FFS

Maybe for you. For me it does as I will buy next gen Playstation and would use this as 4k BD player.
I tried using this method last year whilst buying my surface book from the ms store and cd keys only let me buy 5 vouchers from them before blocking my account from making anymore purchases

Not forgetting and I think one of the main arguments, launch consoles have historically been flaky as f***. Ill pass until the the first next gen 'facelift'

Well I guess it depends. Do you always buy the new consoles as soon as they are released, or wait 6 - 12 months or so when the price drops? This is great if you live in the now, want to enjoy a 4K upgrade for 18 - 24 months or so and are prepared to sell it on when you eventually buy the new console. That's why I think it's important to get a decent 'Limited Edition' console too, just to improve your sell on price. I'm looking to do exactly that, and partially fund this purchase with a Halo Ltd Edition XBoxOne, but unfortiunately this particluar design isn't convincing me

Thankfully not on mine otherwise I'd be doing some manouvreing having only just upgraded! I found the MS £100 off never seemed to coincide with any Microsoft store offers.

I've just upgraded myself, COD MW runs a lot more smoothly, 4K looks good, my TV doesn't really do proper HDR as it hasn't got enough brightness but it all looks good. Worked out about £145 after trading in an original XBOX for £75 cash at CEX and selling the Star Wars game for £32.

Not even remotely in the same price bracket. I don't think anyone planning to spend £399+ for the next-gen console will be looking at a £244 one.

Yes waiting on an expensive machine that's going to play all the same games that keep getting sequels. I would just stick to the console people already have.
