Great price for an Official Drive.

Good deal for those who can't/don't wanna make their own.

As it's being sold by 'gadget guru' though, is it 100% official microsft?

Not dissing the deal but I thought marketplace sellers were not allowed..?

This is sold and despatched by UK Gadget Guru, not Amazon, although Amazon do sell it for an extra £7.

I'm just curious if its even legal for companies such as microsoft to sell grossly overpriced hdds when I can probably by a terabyte, if not bigger, for this same price and use that

Does this come with the hard disk transfer kit?

How would it be illegal?!
You can't commit a crime because something is too expensive!
It's a luxury; you're not being forced to buy one.
Maybe this would be better:

Some Marketplace sellers are now allowed on HUKD, and we now have a new merchant which all marketplace sellers will now go under Amazon Marketplace. Sellers have to have a very high percentage feedback for them to be allowed on this site, and as i have stated in my description this seller has 100% feedback

I know what you mean but i'm talking trading standards that kind of thing, of course its not illegal as most companies have been doing it in some form for years - just a general observation

i think a better question should be if should be illegal for companies to intentionally cripple their products so we need to buy from them rather than something cheaper from elsewhere.. anti-compaction regulations and all that.
