These are too bass heavy unfortunately, with no adjustment from what i can remember, the Wireless version are the same but with the app on Xbox you can dial most of the problem away by lowering it to something which makes them decent for the price.
These even at this price wouldnt be for me.
If you can find the Razer Blackshark v2x (currently on amazon for £39.99 down from £59.99 - cheaper if going with open box from amazon matketplace) these are a bargain, and the best budget Headset ive listened to on xbox.
Between Steelseries arctis 3, Xbox stereo and Razer Blackshark V2x.
Best High-end ive heard is the Audeze Penrose x wireless Xbox/PS5 or Switch compatible with Blutooth & 3.5mm support, they beat all the “gaming” £150-200 headsets quite easily.
I paid £250 for them from Scan with a promo from Youtube if you watched their review.
£300 retail. But these are truly mindblowing for Sound, the clarity and weight, fast bass not overpowered. And with the X version being multiplatform, the icing on the cake.

I think people in the market for £40 headphones are likely not in the market for £300 heaedphones.

This feels like a flex comment

How are these compared to the wireless version?

Considering using my reward points from Xbox to get a new headset for Xbox & steam deck (I have the pc adapter) (edited)

Also wondering how these are. I use a like 7 year old Xo one headset which alot of the sound escapes from the cups due to not being a tight fit (even though I have the retractor is tight as can go)

Not sure about these ones...but if the tech inside are the same as the wireless ones, ufff.....means they are great! Have the wireless ones for many months and are amazing!

Love my wireless ones. The only think I dislike is that the volume dial came off very quickly

I can’t give much insight into quality as I’m no expert but I have a set and they seem fine to me.
