This seems pretty cheap to me for 16GB of DDR4 SODIMM. It's not the fastest RAM but should be fine for a cheap laptop upgrade.

Nope. You can only fit DDR4 RAM is your laptop supports it. As yours has DDR3, you'll need to buy DDR3 RAM.

It doesn't seem worth the risk for a an £18 saving. Some of CEX's higher speed DDR4 is pretty cheap though.
