Why is it expired - all that happened is that it went up by a pound? Still 550 in stock :|.

Anyone know if these are shielded? The last speakers I bought that were posted on were Logitech ones and they go NEEP NAH NAH NEEP NEEP if my mobile phone is even in the same room.

As I understand it, the magnetic shielding on speakers are effective against things like warping a CRT picture with the magnet inside. The 'neep neeps' from GSM radios are picked up by the speakers and the cables - to stop this, you'd need the complete kit shielded, the way that good iPhone docks are. Or go crazy with some chicken wire and create your own faraday cage
