Good price but 720P only for movies

No SPDIF/Optical out for 5.1 either. But then at this price wot should I expect

Hot from me

No mkv support, otherwise not bad for the price.

A good price, very good for people who are still stuck with SD TVs, nice find

Good price but 720P only for movies

so? its upscaled anyway not true 720p. same as watching a dvd on most tellys

really hideous, remote looks useable though.
any idea if better than the sumvision micro?

not sure if plays mp4 either

I bought this when it was on offer last time. Most Xvid movies play on 480/576 max but quality is good on my 32" trough HDMI. It's a bit fussy about avi downloads but plays my own DVD/Xvid conversions perfect. (Doesn't recognise DVD menus, you need to play the individual VOB files.
32GB USB drive is the largest I would recommend. Would take too long to index a full portable HD of 250GB or larger. Remote control is very small and buttons are not very responsive.

I paid £13.99 delivered and I don't think it's worth more. Would have a look at a player with a bigger and better remote control.
