I think you might be expecting a bit too much for your money. At £6.98 you also got free postage, I picked up one of these myself to boost my laptop volume and the sound quality and volume are perfect for my needs. Maybe your needs are different, perhaps you are hosting rave parties from your house and need a few thousand Watts of power but I highly doubt it.

I picked one up last time it was this price to go with a monitor that hasn’t got speakers. For the price can’t fault it! Just plugged it into a spare USB from the monitor and the normal 3.5mm jack on the monitor and was away 🏻

I think even for the money you can get much better sound in a less awkward form factor. I got one of these for a couple of pennies less and the sound is noticeably better.
I have one of these for my monitor in my digs and it is fine for what I want.
Not going to blow the world away, but for a shade under 7 quid delivered, what can you expect.

Some people are so glass half empty ain't they...£6.98 and still moaning ...if your looking for studio sound try these...

Rokit active at the best price I've found and no complaints on quality except from your neighbors
I've had mine for a few years and am delighted with it. The price was right (and was probably a bit more than this price), the sound is okay (to listen to the BBC News clips) and the form factor is just what I wanted. If I want decent sound or music I switch to the 'very decent' speaker setup! This is £6.98p delivered!!! Heat to Tacavas.

Just to add to this - I replaced two of these mini speakers, suggested with this xenta monitor sound bar just for gaming, I find get less distortion and feedback with with the xenta. Worth the £7 investment. The mini speakers are good for watching films on the move though..
Mine is ok but there is a really annoying crackling at higher volume even when there is nothing using the speaker.

Mine doesn’t do that, I leave mine on 100% all the time and just adjust the volume on my pc
Got this and very good, can definitely recommend...
I'm really impressed with this speaker. I was using the inbuilt speakers of my monitor and they were really quiet. I saw this pop up at a cheap price and thought i would have a gamble on it and i'm really pleased that i did. It's not going to as good as an expensive soundbar that you buy for your TV but if you're looking to replace some monitor speakers on your PC then i would really recommend it.

You must be joking.
There is a reason these have such a low price point. I wouldn't recommend them. Mine plays audio louder out of one speaker than the other and I've never been able to fix it. The audio is also pretty garbage.

It gets the job done for me though, which is to play audio when I don't have my headset on. So not used very often at all.
The construction of this is very poor and the sound awful but it is cheap.
I'd rather pay more for a Sephia off Amazon which are very well constructed out of metal and give a much higher quality sound or get a Tronsmart Force which actually give you Bass when they are down to £32
You pays ya money and takes ya choice !

Hi Dick. Surely the Form Factor is what it is, so not sure what you mean. If you only have this budget though what would you recommend instead - and please, not 4 times the price!!! This is really good for the £7 price.
Yo Ho,
my description of a Sephia gives you a clue, solid metal as opposed to plastic and nasty. nothing is good about the Xenta. it is cheap...is all.
if you had bothered to look, a Sephia A2 is £7.99
Ask your sugar daddy for a payrise or get off your back and do some proper work,
