Nice and cheap for this and includes free next day delivery. It would't be something you'd want to do competitive gaming on, although for typing and some games, it should be fine. It's £4.98 and for that price it seems reasonable if you don't want to spend a fortune AND it lights up like a Christmas tree Probably something more suitable for the kids. It's been a long time since I typed on anything with round keys, so I'd be interested to give it a go myself.

Xenta Rainbow LED Wired Keyboard
If you do a lot of typing this is the keyboard for you. The Xenta LED typewriter keyboard has round keys, a retro look and rainbow backlighting. Modern meets retro in this steampunk style keyboard and you'll love using it.

The round keys do take a little getting used to but the effort is worth it. This keyboard is an absolute joy to type on. Anyone who spends time word processing, at home, work or at college, won't want any other keyboard once they've tried this one.

Wow design

The steampunk design is truly eye catching. But it's practical too. It's ergonomic so designed to reduce tiredness over prolonged use (good news for office workers) and it has anti-ghosting keys to help typists. The keys are laser cut so won't fade no matter how much you use them and the characters on the keys are large and clear.

Another design feature is the rainbow backlighting. Bring a little bling to your typing with the adjustable backlights. You can choose between different lighting modes and switching between them is as easy as pressing a couple of keys. You can off course turn the lighting off if you wish.

This is a wired keyboard so you'll have no worries about batteries running out.

Must buy

If you only buy one keyboard this year make it this one. You might even look forward to booting up the office PC in a morning when you have the Xenta LED typewriter keyboard to work on.

Interesting design!
Xenta stuff is usually OK. Interesting design. Worth getting just for a spare.
A real shame it only has a half return key otherwise I would have got one.

Exactly, and also the small left SHIFT key.
says uk format so wonder if that is a library photo as usually US format has half enter key. May bite if you find full enter when receive it.

Looking at the @ I'd say it's UK.
the shape of those keys looks really awkward?

It shows £ sign above 3 so it's UK.

I tried also. Same issue. Surely it costs the same to post pretty much anywhere in the UK? Many other sellers do not charge extra.

Edit: Had a look on eBay and can be bought for £10.10 with the usual free shipping to NI.

Believe it or not it costs logistics companies money to ship items across the sea.

For £5 including delivery and packaging they're barely making anything on these shipping mainland.

Fyi the company @ £10.10 isn't technically shipping for 'free' as you're more than covering the shipping when you pay double the price for the item.

I disagree in the sense that they do not charge extra regardless of mainland UK compared to Northern Ireland. Its still a cheaper option than a finish charging 15 extra for shipping a very light weight product

Well shipping up to 2kg is the same as NI is in the UK it's only when you get to bulky items it changes obviously, if you shipped that KB in England it would cost about £3.50 RM same as NI, 15 quid is just taking the p..s, if it was 3 quid odd I would pay it but no it isn't.

Do you mash it with your entire fist?
Ordered yesterday. Came today. Heavier than expected and it looks quite tough. Can confirm it's UK layout but with a slightly smaller Enter key as shown in the pics. Not the best feel but that's comparing it with keyboards that cost more than 10 times this one. Not sure haw they can do this with next day delivery for the price. Bargain. :¬}

It's not up to much but good for a fiver for my spare pc to play games in dark
38636442-1yt70.jpgSpare rig
Mix of 1* and 10* reviews, and not a good low light option as the letters are not light through.
Tempted though, a fiver for an RGB keyboard, maybe RGB will make me type faster
looks tacky as. not sure what part of this is steampunk as well.
Hard to complain with at less than £5...

Typing this comment out with a Huntsman Elite...
Got one, thanks
Useful as a prop to shoot a 21st century remake of a movie starring someone locked up in a cabin with Annie Wilkes supervising the writing of their latest book.

Omg! I'm going to buy this just so my 1 year old can smash it up! He's been slapping my gaming pc keyboard around for far too long!
And thank you to you for getting me to use ebuyer after 5+ years!
Weird layout. Half ANSI half ISO. Assuming the picture is correct.
Looks very uncomfortable

Mrs bought me some keyboard of ebay with half enter keyboard.... used it for about 2 weeks, popped it back in box........ 4 months later gave it our son for his birthday!...... hes happy with it and doesnt remember it lol, so all good but what the hell half a return key!.... unreal feel.
mine arrived, its ok
Mine arrived. The printing of the characters looks very cheap and will definitely wear away quick. However, does feel nice downgrading to rubber dome from loud blue switches.

You disagree that delivery logistics companies get charged to send shipments across the sea? Unless there's a new toll free megabridge to N Ireland I haven't heard of or the government are funding free cargo ships / Chinooks to N.I then I don't know how that can possibly be true. Happy to learn though if you're willing to spell it out to my naive ass

Thanks but I didn't mention me personally shipping anything, I specifically said 'logistics companies' have to pay extra. As far as I know national logistics companies ship in bulk and their combined shipments to NI total more than 2kg per day. They're unlikely to send a HGV over the sea with 2kg in it.

I work in logistics and this is absolute nonsense.

There are several companies that offer cheap rates from GB to NI. Both UPS and Parcelforce will offer companies between £4-£6 depending on bulk, for example. £15 for this size of package is ridiculous. It costs them around £1 more to ship to Northern Ireland than it does to anywhere else in the UK, excluding some areas in Scotland, which will be higher.

When you get into larger packages then there is a significant difference.

I don't know if your 2kg bulk statement is correct but it's irrelevant since the likes of Parcelforce and UPS ship conserderably more than 2kg and therefore can offer cheap rates. You don't have to use the companies who don't ship much and therefore have to charge higher rates. Different companies have different specialities and if a company is not prepared to investigate the options then it is money lost.

Charging a £15 delivery charge to NI for this size of package is either daylight robbery or stupidity.
I have a similar keyboard and although the back lighting looks cool, in the dark it does nothing for key visibility. Would recommend getting a keyboard that has the letters lasered out of the plastic so as to allow light to shine through them
Keys are like those on a typrwriter.

Thanks for the backup.

And for the record to the other guy:
Muppet Trader... Today I bought a new GPU from England. Delivery to NI was going to be 15 from box but only 5 from scan. Respectful companies don't charge more. Scan are barely making a loss. If it costs them £1 more that will barely eat into their profits for the sale as a whole.

I ordered this mainly because I doubt I'll see an RGB keyboard this cheap for many years, even if does have circular keys!

Mind you, I almost didn't bother because Ebuyer still haven't fixed their hopeless delivery address book system:

- You can't view, edit, add or delete delivery addresses in your account profile (can only be done during checkout - WTF?!).
- During checkout, I have multiple delivery addresses listed, but only one of them had edit/delete buttons next to them!
- As an experiment, I deleted the address mentioned above and, yep, now *none* of the remaining addresses could be edited/deleted. A couple of the addresses have been hanging around for years because I've never been able to delete them.
- I selected a delivery address, chose Paypal and the address passed to Paypal was one of the ones I hadn't selected - incredible.
- Switched to Visa for payment and although it got the delivery address right this time, at no point in the rest of the process did it show me the delivery address! Had to go into my account and drill down to the order to confirm the address was correct.

What a complete shambles and reminds me why I rarely use Ebuyer nowadays...

I got one for my son, and he uses it connected to his PS4 to play that dreadful Fortnite game. No complaints from him.
Scorching hot. The fuel to deliver will 100% cost more than the actual product so no idea how they make any money from this unless they are delivering many other things in the area
Fantastic price but it's ebuyer (refuse to buy from them) and I've had all manner of mech RGB keyboards that develop key print smudging after a few months, so I'm not tempted. Good for light users, though.

Heat.
