Look at the pics that PSU is custom job - probably barely has enough wattage to power the system as is. Good deal for what it is but unless you plan to stick with it as is i'd avoid. There would be no real upgrade path.

How are you (a) able to tell what PSU and (b) ascertain the upgrade path from a few external images ?
It could be one of them with the extension cable ones
I'd expect this to be 250-300W based on their other systems.
I'm looking for a windows xp pc, about £50ish. I just need it to be able to run photoahop to a basic level and run some old xp software I have. There's quite a few on amazon and ebay. Anyone got any recommendations.

Itzoo tend to pop up with some good deals on older refurbs, it's worth keeping an eye there, although you might struggle for a good deal at £50 - The THANKS10 code still works as well itzoo.co.uk/col…-10

Ebay could well be the way to go.I've bought HP Pro 6200 and Dell Optiplex 7010 machines off there under £30 delivered.

Because it is not a standard ATX/ITX supply which has a standard size on the rear of the unit - Instead it takes just a 3 pin into a hidden internal unit. If you have found one of these custom jobs does anything more than the bare minimum I'd love to hear about it? The similar HP I have under my desk supplies <200W and and only has about 50W spare for GPU/HDDs after CPU/MB (and that's would be pushing it to the limit). These machines are made to the minimum cost. My statement still stands - buy it if it suits what you want but don't expect to upgrade it. There are better machines for the job.

Don't. Win 7 is EOL now and security is a massive concern. Get Win10 and use software in Win XP compatability mode if you absolutely must.
This seems great value - cheese has a point. If this PC will do what you want it to do (and if your looking for a £250 PC no GPU it probably will!)

If your looking to use this as a base to build a gaming PC from, or anything more elaborate from, dont bother.

Im going to bang this in an office and let it run for as long as it is fast, perfect for that and Ryzen 5 is good for this price point.

Absolutely what this sort of PC is for, that or a little HTPC for streaming use (maybe even GeForce Now or Game streaming). The 2400G is perfectly capable for both & for £250 it's a great deal for that.
