How you get that price?

125.35 GBP at PrinterLand so that's £109+VAT invisable delivery charge again?

Think I'll pass.
From ]the review:
The Phaser 6125's greatest problem is its high print costs. A single page of mixed colour and black costs 10.9p: 1.9p for the mono elements and 9p per page for colour. Long-term running costs are also high.

Got one of these with a similar offer at the end of last year - a really great printer.

Cheaper cartridges here (£12.69 inc VAT) -

Cheapest deal here is probably Insight, using code XERX10 - works out at £109.23 including VAT and delivery. Three extra cartridges free, of course, by claiming from Xerox.

Seems a pretty good deal to me (even if it was about £30 cheaper last time round!)

It's still £65 to print 1000 pages (6.5p per page)

I have this printer its is fantastic, great deal.

How do you calculate that? Each £12.69 cartridge does 1000 pages.

It's a very cheap printer, but the results are amazing - see last post.

Worth remembering these figures are based on 5% coverage - if you're doing full page prints, or large graphs etc, you will easily surpass 5% coverage and printing costs will be a lot more - substantially more so if you're printing photos.

Havent got anything to compare it against though, so whatever..

I have got one of these printers from the last deal that was on here. Can honestly say i can't fault the printer at all, much cheaper to run than my old epson inkjet and the picture quality is awesome, wouldn't hesitate to buy one, just make sure you've got room cause it's got a big foot print and is quite tall other than that it's ace

1000 pages seems pretty low?

No experience of the 6125 but have other xerox EA toner based printers, and been very pleased with the quality.

I would have thought you'd get more than 1000 pages at 5% coverage from a full set of toners though.
if not that is somewhat disappointing.

I will add that I am finding it VERY difficult to get off printerland's junk email list.
they're not listening to the fact i'm a retailer and can purchase the supplies far cheaper than they can offer

Use a spam filter to treat anything from printerland as junk. Works for my on those companies that don't behave like gentlemen.

If each colour cartridge is rated at 1000 5% pages (the black is 2000), wouldn't you get at least 4000 pages altogether from a set, assuming equally mixed colours? Not photos, obviously, but general letters etc.

Thank you! I paid £45 for a compatible cartridge last month. I have been looking for ages for cheaper alternatives.

It's a good printer. I got this last year for just under £100 inc the extra set of colour cartridges.

It says it's an MFP but it doesn't look like it has scnning and fax. Can't see info on the Xerox web page :s

It's not an MFP, it's just a colour printer. the text on the xerox site is invalid, good to know they put effort into what they put online :s Not a good sign methinks

This is just a printer, not a scanner or fax I can confirm.

Decent enough price I suppose - however, Insight at one point in time (I think November 08) had this printer on offer (with the extra toners deal) for around £60 - I bought two then - great value for the money - nearly cheaper to replace the printer rather than the toner!

Maybe im missing something, but does this come fitted with a set of toners - and another set free from xerox, or does it mean the printer (empty) and 1 set of toners from xerox via post in? Hopefully the first, if not ive never heard of a printer coming without ink as standard (even if low capacity) .

Yes, the first - but the cartridges are only half-full.

Just checked it out, its strange the cartridge only has 13g of toner! How does it manage the claimed 1000 pages? The same place sells toner for HP, it costs around 6x the price (£15.23 to £87.51) but has a more reasonable 360g of toner and claims 12,000 pages.

Seemed good, until I read this:

-Up to 600 x 600 x 4 dpi resolution

So not going to really touch my inkjet for photo quality.

edit: actually I'm not sure if it will or not. Either I'm working it out wrong or that 4 dpi is incorrect. I'm probably working it out wrong

Honestly the photo quality on this at 600x600 is amazing on full a4.
You will be well impressed.
I was anyway and had been running various photo quality inkjets for years.
Will never go back to an inkjet after getting a laser.

As far as i can see, this offer is still available.
