I'm on the look-out for a new TFT so many thanks for this - it is a good price indeed.

I'm tempted to get one, but am wondering whether 22" WS is going to be too large for my desk, as I was only considering getting a 19" WS, but at this price, it wouldn't make sense to get the 19" any more.

Almost bought this then noticed there was no DVI port.

YEs from the reviews it appears not to have one... Good price otherwise... A revision of the same model/price would be Good....

30 mins left to buy @ this price!!! Happy hour finishes at 1pm TODAY!

19" widescreen is usually 1400 x 900, 20 & 22" are 1680 x 1050 so you get a lot more pixels. 22" has a larger dot-pitch that 20" (ie it is better if either you eyesight isn't top or you plan to sit a bit further back) but the same resolution - have a look in a shop at both if you can to see what you'd prefer. I personally prefer the 22" models.

That said, this ebuyer offer is only on for another 30 minutes, and whilst not-DVI it is still a bargain for a very nice looking monitor!

can someone please explain this 'dvi' thing to me. what is is? what's it used for? cheers

DVI is a input for a fully digital signal. Traditional monitors used the DSub connection (normally blue) this is an analog signal. So the theory is because a monitor is digital its best to serve the picture to it in digital. Should produce better picture quality providing the monitor is of course up to it, oh and to make it more future proof.

Ok thanks - so where does the dvi go into the PC?

cool, thanks jam_sandwich man. I will have to check mine at home first before buyin so will miss out on this. Good deal by the looks - hot from me

still think this is a great price even with out the extra pounds off!!!!!

Hi all,

am led to believe that you can get a converter from DVI to blue one (VGA) does that not ensure all can still use and also mainain quality???:?

I've bought one so will check when I get it delivered and see if I can tell.

all the best:thumbsup:

You can get a convertor about 5 quid.
