Great performance per pound. Nearly as fast as the 6950 at anything 1920x1080 or below and about £40 cheaper!

Last gen of course and no chance of an unlock like you have with the 6950, which is why I went for the latter but those after raw performance at this price range you can't beat it.

Scan have an excellent service as well. Bought loads of stuff off them in last fortnight everything came next day with a text from the courier to say when they would arrive with an hour timeframe (e.g. Your order will arrive between 10:30 and 11:30) all that for free via Hexus forums!

Hot deal

Agreed, bought several items from Scan with the free delivery, can't fault them there. Prices seem to be very keen too, I went for the Asus HD 6950 2GB deal for £197 with a view to unlocking to HD 6970, but got to admit if I had seen this deal first would probably have gone for this one, not quite as fast but £47 cheaper!!!!!!

Can get a HD5870 now for under £150 at a few places (OcUK being one but not allowed to list it). Good cards, old(er) tech but more than capable, mines still going strong and I have no intention of replacing it for at least another generation.

Meh, better deal over at OcUK as mentioned.

was thinking of going for 6870 or 6850 as they are the best bank for buck from above diagram?? But now the prices are dropping I'll go for the 6950.

Does any1 know where I an see a table that details;

1) GPU Manufacturer,
2) UK RMA or Europe RMA or Worldwide RMA
3) lenght of warranty (1 yr, 2 yrs etc)

Don't really wanna send my GPU far away for repair. Thanks

I would be cautious about just using synthetic benchmarks in choosing a new card, would always look at real world performance, i.e. FPS in games.
