Wow; that IS cheap. Don't think much to the games, but significantly under £200 for a 5870 - bargain!

Shame it's XFX though; bad experience with their warranty (or lack thereof).
Isn't a reason not to buy one though.... if only I didn't already own one

Erm; £9 delivery if you aren't near their Newcastle-under-Lyme store.

@TehJumpingJawa there is a 2Year Premium warranty by OcUK if you read the small print!

Chewy, you've either made a typo or OCUK readjusted the price: £187.99 inc VAT

Yep plus postage...spose if you sell the 2 games at CEX you'll get a few quid back

Yep, edited, cheers Glix

EDIT: I've edited this message to tell you that I have edited the top title which previously was unedited until I changed the price which was requested to be edited to the higher new price.

Who did I confuse there?

tempting as I'm thinking about upgrading my 1gb 2900pro(bought from ocuk like 3years ago) scan have it for £206.99 with 1 game rather than 2. pic on ocuk is for the slightly overclocked xxx version(comparing pic from scan) but the specs are for the non-overclocked version.

The games would be download vouchers, which you can't sell at CEX.
Heard a few horror stories on the forums about XFX warrenty. I would personally go fo another brand and pay a tad more. I would go for the VTX3D one they have on the same site for £179.99
Here !

Cheaper here, if you're not interested in the games -

well, is actually worth it even so they used to be £300+??
series 6000 is out and the6870 does cost about the same. 6870 will go down for sure and even so is slightly less power full than the 5870, it is got new 3d technology and on the top of that, is performing a lot better in crossfire.

As you mentioned there's reasons to go either way so it would depend on what your budget is, whether you want outright performance or superior anti aliasing and tesselation (with 6870) and if crossfire is something people plan on.
Personally I like the look of both as you can't argue with performance or bells and whistles of the graphics and they're both going to probably keep going down in price. 6870 is fresh out though so may take longer to drop but it'd be my choice most likely if I was looking to cross fire.

There are at least 2 reasons why it's so cheap:

1) the 6970 is due out;
2) the gtx470 can now be found for around this price, and from what I've read it's overall a bit faster than the 5870. but as usual it depends on what size monitor you have and what games you play, as the 5870 is better in some games while the gtx470 is faster in others.

it's saying 3 in stock but not letting you buy(saying no eta in the bit where you normally choose the quantity and no buy 'button'). was thinking of getting this to upgrade the 3year old 2900pro 1gb.

No longer comes with Dirt2.
