Nice card and good price.. with Black Friday coming I think these may drop a little more though.
This or the rx 590, any thoughts? wonder if these will drop further on black friday.
What's the overclocking ability on this?
Should I get the pulse or this?

If its under 10 pounds difference id get the pulse if not this.
Great price isn't it? Can't remember it being cheaper?

Personally can't imagine them dropping further until the RX 5500 gets released. I think £130 would be the limit, lot of card for the money still.
Are the fans on these ok ?

Thanks ,the reviews on Amazon seem a bit iffy though.

This. If you are going to pay more for an RX 590 may as well go that bit further still and aim for a Vega 56. 590 runs outside of the efficiency curve, it's not a bad card, just never appealed.
Wouldn't touch xfx if you paid me. Twice had xfx cards die on me
giving them away, heat
well finally more like it, hopefully these prices will put pressure on nvidia..
a single fan 580 would be great
Not

Not really.. The card is still £159. The discount has nothing to do with the seller as eBay takes the hit. I will always prefer AMD due to freesync, my TV supports it and so do most monitors now

Wouldn't a used GTX 1070 be a slightly better purchase?
Does this come with a free VIn Diesel or Ice Cube?

Yes I am very tired of most Amazon reviewers as well. I doubt they have a single brain cell between them.

I have the powercolour edition, other than the fan being loud at times, the card is fantastic.

60fps 1080p is not an issue, although i would point out i tried monster hunter at max and had to tone down some of the lighting.

At this price, i think its definitely worth it. I would check the reviews though in noise and heat for this particular edition.
Apparently not going to cut it for red redemption, but I’m sure it’sfine on existing games

No it wouldn't, these are hot cards, you need two.
I've owned this card before, would warn everyone to stay away, was the worst I've owned. The cooler is utter rubbish.

Have an overclocked 570 Nitro, same fans. No issues whatsoever. They're dead easy to replace. Clips on you tube about it.

That heat saves you switching on the central heating....... bonus !

Yeah that's like 5% performance gain at 1080p so can't compare....honestly?

It’s tiring reading.
Buy cheap buy twice. If this was my budget I'd do a couple more weeks of paper rounds and get an EVGA 1660 instead.

So a card with half the memory was cheaper? Great input

I'm in the market for a new card so been doing a lot of research both written and videos and not a single person said go for the 1660. Some said the 1660 Super is okay (probably the card I'm going to go for), a good buy for its price range but it's £100 more than this card. Almost all them said if the RX 580 is the right price that is the best buy as it's just a under-clocked 590. The 570 currently offers the best FPS/Price ratio at 1080p if you are interested in a good value buy.

You are right in saying but cheap buy twice but saying a product that is £100 more is will be better is a silly comment. They aren't even in the same class.

The dig was mainly at XFX in truth and my perspective was more a 'make that £150 budget stretch a little more for something of all around better quality' but you're right when you're at that point you should stretch the extra £20-30 also for the Super and that's a good price performance card. If I was looking to buy a GPU right now today i'd personally go for this: novatech.co.uk/pro…tml

I can only speak from my own experience but i've done the cheap AMD graphics card with bad quality aftermarket cooler in my early days of PC builds and it was a lesson learned that it's not ever worth cheaping out on components. It only ends in disappointment and having to spend even more shortly after.
Going to be upgrading from a 1050ti 4GB. Looking at cards around the £150 mark. Will I wait for the RX 590 to come down again or get this? Cheers
Can anyone advise what they think a decent upgrade would be on a 980ti, been debating whether or not to get a 2080ti but struggling to justify the price? I know its a bit of a broad question but any sensible suggestions would be appreciated.

It is a broad question and you probably need to say more to make it meaningful. What budget? What monitor resolution? G-SYNC?
