Not really...if you apply 20% on that price maybe

Good try anyway OP
Is this same as the JL £199 one but with 128mb instead of 64?

I think is 8gb ram instead of 6gb and different back but battery is 3000mha instead of 3300mah.

The MI 8 Pro has a transparent effect see-through back cover, has a slightly slower under-display fingerprint, 128GB, 8GB Ram, smalller 3000mAh battery.
The MI 8 for £199 has a glass back with rear fingerprint reader 64GB, 6GB Ram, but a larger 3400mAh battery. The glass backed MI8 looks the more professional of the two, as the see-through back isn't real, it's an effect.

Really they should have called the MI8 Pro, the MI8 Play/Game, the standard black gloss glass backed MI8 looks more professional, though it's all relative, as most get fitted with a cover.

The fingerprint reader on the back panel is a much more natural position if you're picking up/accessing the phone a lot, the one on the MI8, is instant and works well. The MI8 is a great all-round phone if you can get one.

Best way to describe it - If you want an iPhone XS Max clone running Android, the MI8 is pretty much that phone, very slightly smaller but you'd be hard to tell the difference. It's very well made too, screen is superb.

The lack of headphone jack (at least Xiaomi provide an adapter) and 64GB Storage isn't as bad as it sounds (lacking those features hasn't hampered iPhone XS sales) as it's very easy to move stuff back and forth from the MI8 phone to a PC using the usb-c connection.

NFC (Google Pay-tap and pay) is pretty useful, works well.

The MI8 3400mAh Battery lasts around 2 days with a good amount of use, it also charges to from 2% to 50% in approx 30 minutes, How quick this phone charges makes all the difference (one of it's best features), makes the MI8 is a good practical phone.
