Awesome price if you are happy with the colour. Comes from UK with 2-year warranty and definitely one of the most popular fitness watch on the market. Great 30 days battery life! Not the nicest display on earth but good enough to check your messages if you want to do so during your workout!

Use it for sleep tracking and GPS tracking. In GPS tracking mode you get towards 30 hours battery.

The always on display is transflective, and for the life of me, I cannot see why this type of display is not more prevalent.
And if you want to avoid sending all your data to China, use the third party Notify and Fitness app.
It works very well, even on the free version.
Had this watch for 8 month, loved it until I found out the hard way that it wasn't waterproof, I swam and showered daily with it on for 8 month without issue, but then one day it gave up on me after swimming, only then did I find out that it isnt waterproof

Nice, GPS and a barometer at this price.

Strange how these Amazfit watches are back at the original selling price when reviewed back in March 2018.

I use Amazfit tools. What's generally considered the better app for the bip?
Bought, thanks op. Was using a Mi band 2 but my daughter borrowed it ,permanently.
And was going to buy the Mi band 4 until this deals came along.
is there a app on iphone that pair with this?
Anyone know whats difference between this brand & the Huami amazfit bip smart watch please?
This is good, though now and again it says my heart rate is 40 odds which is obviously not true, and it's about 1000 steps or from my fitbit ever was.

Yep, it's the official xiaomi mi fit app to install IIRC

The battery life on this thing is incredible, I love it. Any time I think about "upgrading", most alternatives only seem to last a few days at best, some even needing charging every day...

I get around a month off each charge of my Bip, using alarms every morning, timers fairly regularly and phone notifications... I don't use the HR or GPS features often, but it'd probably still last a couple of weeks if I did.

Something like this with NFC for Google Pay and a nicer interface for music controls would be perfect for me... I don't care about having a 4K Amoled screen on my watch.
What's the heart rate monitor like on this?
Is it a spot check or can you log continuous rate? Most only seem to check when you hold the button but I'm looking for one I can get a continuous chart from, even if it only records for say 1 hour at a time...?

Also, is it just me who says Amazeballs in my head everytime I see this?

Rubbish because they put GPS in but you can't save manual split times... so you can't analyse pace in a useful way!
Had mine 2 years now, great watch for the money..
Can I put this in the wife's bag an track her
Yes it's funny how this has never really went down much in price over the years , but yes great watch had mine about 2 years now . I like to customise the faces a lot with the Amazfit Bip app also had several different straps ... Keeps things exciting and fresh ! 😜
Had mine just over 2 years now. Screen glue unfortunately failed a few months ago but reglued it (no warranty beyond 1y from gearbest). However I'd still recommend it. Great battery life and features for the price.

The MiFit app isn't as great as other systems but it's something and for what you pay for it's reasonable.
39831066-WdnFK.jpgu will need the warranty - this is what happened to mine in 14 months
not a happy bunny
Had mine for about 2 months now. Found the heart rate monitor works well and accurately until you use the GPS tracking on a run or cycle. It then becomes inaccurate and erratic. The GPS tracking is excellent. Seems the watch can be worn in the shower but not to be submerged, so no swimming etc. The sleep tracking seems to be a gimic with every night logging as around 6 to 7 hours light sleep and 2 hours deep. I do recommend it and you can easily gain a watch face that is right for you free of charge. For me with everything turned on except notifications the battery is lasting over 2 weeks.

orrr... use an alternative? People really need to stop supporting companies like this
This looks like it could be a good upgrade from my Fitbit HR 2! What are the features for receiving messages(E.g. can you reply or is it just the message content) and controlling music(Does it only work on specific apps?).
Can the frame around the screen be removed and replaced with a different colour?
had mine for 2 years. The alarms and notifications are on. A bit annoyed that calendar notifications don't dissapear past the event and have to be maually individually deleted. Other than that I can't complain. I get two months from a single charge. I just want it so I can see who's calling me when at work or driving. No need to get the phone out. I might buy this for my grandson.

Hadn't heard of that, looks ideal... Shame the app seems to not work on a rooted device or I would have ordered it.

Thanks for the recommendation anyway, maybe there is some workaround for the app or it can be topped up from a browser... I'll have a look after work

No replying, and you can't control music officially. Though you can with one of the paid for apps.

Everyone saying use these other apps, you still need to official one for these to work no?
Using this for 2 years now, really happy. I love the battery life, really "charge and forget".

I use the Notify & fitness app, which has loads of advanced options. It lets me choose my custom watch face and good with notifications.

I like the fact that I don't miss any calls in noisy places anymore.

Remember, this is not a smart watch, and it is better than a fitness band.

If it's anything like the GTR the GPS is awful and they will not fix it.

You can set the intermediary balance to top itself automatically, so worst case you can install the app on a spare phone, set that up, then ignore it.

Also the devices expire after 2 years.

I mean it's far from ideal, really, but it's a solid bodge.

They look great, I have the all black version, before I had the dark green. Look very smart.
