I was looking at getting an Amazfit Pace but came across this on the Aliexpresswebsite. It seems to be based in the Amazfit Bip which I think looks plug ugly. I think it also looks much better than the Pace although with a smaller screen and less functionality. It quotes a battery life of up to 12 days but this will be due to the fact that's not an "always on" screen. It doesn't appear to have GPS or music playback in case that's a dealbuster. Not sure if this will work with Gadgetbridge but here's a link for tweaking the firmware if you're feeling brave github.com/Fre…ate
There's also an third party app to further tweak the settings play.google.com/sto…ols

I currently have an LG Urbane Android Wear watch but the last "upgrade" to Android Wear 2.0 has been buggy and I have to re-pair the watch with my phone several times a day. I'm also fed up with having to charge it every day.

Don't forget 4.5% Quidco which effectively brings it down to £32.79

I have the mi band 2 from gearbest. It's amazing. It had it's first charge on Xmas day and it still has 50% battery left. For under £20 the Mi band 2 is the best sports tracker money can buy.

Couldn't agree more. Any of the other 'quirks' that other devices offer are pretty much bloatware. Save some dosh and stick to the Miband2

I also have a Mi Band 2 which I really like but this has a touch screen and better functionality and is altogether more of a smartwatch than the Band 2. IMHO.

I'm still using my Mi Band 1 and I think it is the best as it was less than a tenner ;-)
I have the mi band 2 and love it. Charge last for ever. Best all round tracker for a fraction if the price

Battery on my mi band 1s is total crap now. Fed up of charging it, stopped wearing it.
"170mah battery capacity provides up to 7 days standby time."
Where does the 12 days come from?
Also in pre sale so not yet available and possiblity it will never ship. Personally, I'd wait til it's properly available with real reviews.
But do agree with others, the Miband2 is the best value fitness tracker available. Very accurate and cheap enough to be a throwaway item (between £11-20 depending on deals)

Fair point that. Wasn't meaning to disrespect the post, and in fairness it does seem a nice bit if kit for the money - specially at the side of FitBits etc...

There are plenty of reviews for the Chinese version on YouTube
Miband 2 is great apart from screen readability in sun. IPS screen in this new one should be good?
Mi band 2 is fantastic in every aspect apart from not being able to see he screen outdoors! You can’t see anything in the screen if it is sunny outside

How old was it, 12 months? More? How much did it cost? £8?

That doesn't happen very often though!

More than a year, about £18 at the time. They don't last forever.
I think the battery on the mi band 2 spoils you.

Mine is on 47% and the app says 32 days since last charge.

Other posters think it's just the instructions though may be related to the servers used. Either way it isn't a problem - get the cheapest one you can.
It’s 3 times the price of a mi band 2 , whilst it looks nice I don’t see the point as it’s not got gps like the bip.
I have a Miband 2, one of the best things I ever bought (Use MiBand Tools to unlock much more functionality!)
ended lusting after a bigger screen to be able to read more text, and nearly got an amazfit pace but found out at the last minute the battery only lasts a few days plus it's android wear which I really grew to disclike after owning moto 360s, and I loved the month long battery of the miband. Then I discovered the Amazfit Bip which I ended up buying in a sale. It's pretty much a slightly wider MiBand 2 with an equally long battery but takes normal watch straps.

Absolutely love being able to read entire whatsapp messages without having to take the phone out my pocket.
The Cor Band is meant to have a poor battery compared the the miband but it does have a more colourful screen.

If anyone wants a comparison I found this youtu.be/wat…CEw

The Bip looks good indeed. I am surprised the price between Cor and Bip is so small.

The Pace does not run Android Wear
Following as I like the option to put a standard strap on as these rubber things make my arm sore.
