OK price for the original, bearbest had the 1s with heart rate monitor for about £12 the other day and you should remember a new one is due in the next few months with a display so you can check stats on the fly.
I've bought 3 of these in the last year or two and all were cheaper than this. Step counting is pretty unreliable but the alarms and notifications are really useful. The newer white led model has amazing battery life, mine is constantly connected to my phone and gets about 6 weeks on a charge.
I have one, I'm not sure what I bought it for. The pedometer is a bit dodgy & actually vibrated that I hit my 8000 steps target while on the M25 the other day, but I quite like the sleep monitoring.

Still its a good price.

I would pay the extra couple of £ and get the 1s with hear rate monitoring and sack off the official app for mi band notify and fitness (android) as is much better.
May not be 100% accurate when counting steps but none of these trackers are. This gives a consistent result so is fine for tracking exercise, the battery life is terrific and it is very cheap. I like the updated app.
Lost mine in two weeks, think it came off the strap when I took my rucksack off. The rucksack strap ripped the sensor off the strap as it pushed against it basically without me noticing.
Excellent piece of kit for the price. Used mine paired to work calendar to remind me of upcoming meetings. Step tracking is of dubious accuracy but fine if you just use it as a relative day to day check. Now moved on to a Pebble Time - same notification ability and it tells the time!
Very good kit - I have the scales too perfect.
Software nice for tracking things - Notification for SMS / Hangouts / FreedomPop / etc works will
AMAZING battery >30 days lots of colours available for the bands for 57p on AliExpress. plus metal ones that cost >£6 and pendant holders (unit can be used in neclace / pendant mode)
Superb design and build quality puts the FitBit stuff to shame.

I have bother a Pebble Time Steel (left wrist) and one of these (right wrist) and 'step' count wise they tally with the Xiaomi being only fractions of a percent of a percent ahead of the Time over the course of a day (probably because I'm right handed).

However when it comes to notifications the Time is terrible. I'm frequently only notified of notifications by the vibrating Xiaomi and not by the Time. That's the main reason I continue to wear both.

I'm not sure if £9.49 is a good deal as I seem to remember paying around £8 for this and around £15 for the 1S (which I misplaced while travelling the other day which is why I'm back to this). To me the 1S isn't worth the extra.

I wouldn't recommend the 1S because the heart rate monitoring isn't constant (unless you want to kill the battery) and I'm not sure it's reliable either. However Miband Notify App is worth spending the extra on.

with that app you can select how often you want the heat rate measuring.......

as for the battery, even running heart rate it will still outlast all the other bands on the market (unless you have it constantly measuring hr, not sure why you would want to though)
interesting comments on the miband 1s as I just bought one and generally impressed with it. for the price its great value and reasonably accurate. However can anyone else comment on the sleep monitor as mine had been spot on until recently and its now wildly out showing way under my actual sleep pattern! Does it have to be connected to my phone to monitor sleep? as this maybe the reason. I gather it has no internal memory and is just a monitor!! Detailed instructions are non existent. Would recommend a metal bracelet as plenty available at good prices and look good too.
