Another alternative way to Dyson to keep your home nice and clean.
This Xiaomi JIMMY JV51 is very similar in performance to the Dyson v8 but at a much lower price point. It comes from the EU so there is no extra cost.
If you compare this to the Dyson v8 you will find that the running time, suction power, the size of the dust bin are almost the same.
It also comes with so many attachments.

They don't 'rely' on copying. Their copyright laws are not the same as here, simple.

Same outcome though isn't it?

Thanks for that. Yeah those foam rollers are good for hard floors but not very good for carpets so anyone getting one should take that into consideration. I have mostly carpets so I’ll be giving it a miss.
I'm getting an error "This product can't be shipped to the selected region." The region input being Worcestershire, England. Anyone know why this might be?

Wow... Looks like a real winner at this price. If you could get a carpet attachments for this it would be a firm favourite

Seriously???
They were inventing things when westerns were still living in the caves. They were hundreeds of years ahead of almost any other nation and they stayed ahead for a very long time. Never mind about the chinese inventors/innovators working for major western companies, their name is never associated with the product.

I read somewhere that adding your address again could solve the problem… IIRC you can select Poland or Spain as well for shipping…
Edit: Poland 🇵🇱 looks like the fastest option and I have no problem with London address…

Sorry to say you are on the wrong side here. Majority of the credits for inventions and present day patents held by westerners are originally from Asian countries.

Its also a shame Dyson massively take the p*ss on pricing.

Nothing wrong with copying legally.

Remember, we copy almost from birth as babies to survive and thrive. We also need to acknowledge inventors (including Chinese who were great inventors) and give them credit that they deserve so that it's worthwhile for them to invent more good stuff for us all to use and enjoy.
Have a similar model that is nearly a year old. It was half the price of the Dyson equivalent, had a superior battery and excellent build quality.

Would love to support British, but why bother paying more so James Dyson can avoid paying his fair share of tax here in the UK?

Off course, that's why it will take UK 20 YEARS to complete HS2, China suggest 5 years
rmtheatre18/02/2020 15:43

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chinese_inventions

Going off the first paragraph, we can find out the position with a compass, print the co-ordinates on the paper, then blow it up with gunpowder....
If they continue to make good quality copies at lower prices, seriously, I don't care. Real wages are not getting any better but worse, people getting poorer, and living standard getting much worse, so please spare me the sympathy for James Dyson and co.
By the way, copying others innovations as been going on even before the invention of pen and paper, so why is it any different now the Chinese are most proficient at it?

Well we do have health and safety laws to protect staff. State own the land, making 5 years feasible in Chine, but in the UK, no chance.

It is a shame there isn't a brush roller, I've looked at these before and been tempted, but put off by the roller as I have mostly carpets.

Then buy Dyson, fair enough

Most powerful suction for cordless stick vacuum after Dyson V11 for £128. Only con is not built for deep carpet deep clean. If you have all hard floors (and maybe low level carpets, not deep ones), best bargain for the price bar none. The reviews on youtube confirms it.
