No it's made in Germany. I'm actively avoiding Chinese products from now …No it's made in Germany. I'm actively avoiding Chinese products from now on and supporting, where I can, British made goods

Why? They’re not as good, not as broad a range, not as well supported, not as innovative and even if factories sprang out of the ground tomorrow, have not one hope in hell of becoming as cost effective as the major brands because the world at large already has enough brands that they trust and buy into, resulting in smaller upstarts gaining no traction and failing.

I consult with a lot of businesses for my business, and I’ve already encountered several enthusiastic opportunists proposing British ‘tech firm’ brands. The majority of them propose to only have an office and distribution in the UK. Their ‘plan’ is to bring generic foreign products into the UK like raw materials, and to rebadge them with a ‘British’ brand. Just like many ‘British brands’ already do.

i’m not inspired by ‘British’ plans for ‘British’ businesses.

it still all sounds very much like a typically British ‘cheap crap’ shop, and some cunning wording which allows them to change a label and pretend its another product entirely...

Try it with the trick to get more value. Order in RUB but pay in USD so you get the lower minimum value of RUB and higher value from USD With the same trick you're able to get Mi Band 4 for £15.

Never ordered from them before. What do you pay with? Starling? Monzo? If it is in France can you only pay in Euros?

In China stores always pay with USD to have the best currency exchange rate (if you have fee free card). But in this case you have to change to RUB for short term in order to get a lower minimum value. It's a bit complicated to explain.
Can you still get this at 96.80? $20 usd coupon is gone now?
This or a refurbished V10 for more money?
What's the deal with the power supply, EU plug?

These typically come with an ‘infinity’ power lead. So you could use one from an old router, laptop etc or can buy one for a couple of quid. Better than using an adapter.
I get this product cant be sent to select region. Anyone else have this?

Thank you. But figured it out after about 30 minutes. Though have had problems paying for the item. Payment came out of my Monzo account but the next page to load said 404 error. Think that it has gone through. Cost me £100.38. Are people just getting random amounts?

I don't think that one will work, the adapter will hit the wall.

I bought this one to go with it

I'm sure you could jimmy ( ) one on. But yeah they're not the same since there's complaints of the pipes not being hot swappable.

Mine says it can't be shipped to the region?
It's very hard to find what the key differentiators are between the different Xiaomi brands or subbrands. But from my research:

Jimmy seems to be the cheaper/budget line. ~£100
Dreame is the medium to upper end (V9 and V10 and XR Premium). ~£130-£250
Roidmi (eg. x20) upper end. ~£350
