I really like the look of this, even with the totally pointless temperature gauge on the lid, maybe because of it...

Xiaomi company kiss kiss fish make some really nice-looking water bottles, and this is no exception. Minimalist in design, it is small and lightweight but can carry up to 475ml of liquid — tea, coffee, wine, even soup — and will keep it warm or cool for around 24 hours.

The 'smart' temperature sensor is just a gimmick, really, but you can see how hot or cold the liquid inside is. I bet you won't scald yourself on piping hot tea any more!

You can also get one without the temperature gauge for £11.16 delivered. 20-40 days wait.

Details
  • Compact and portable, comfortable to hold.
  • It can keep water hot or cold for as long as 24 hours.
  • Zinc alloy handle is useful for hanging and lifting up.
  • 475ml large capacity design makes it more practical.
  • It can be used for storing water, coffee, beer, soup and so on.
  • Perfect for office, hike, gym and other outdoor activities.
  • A nice gift for your family and friends.

If it's an official Xiaomi product I wouldn't be worried too much.

Man, the account verification process is annoying as hell!
Aren't you worried ordering these things from China? The standards are different to here and they found to be highly toxic.

Wait, is China highly toxic?

With many many more people all living and surviving well over there, I think it'll be okay to buy a water bottle made from stainless steel.
Insulated with fish?

Sure I know but they are being checked before they are allowed to be sold, the things ordered directly from China is a totally different story. Anyway, I was just asking

Evidence? Folk nowadays are far too quick to make claims without any supporting evidence.

£1 fish, very very good and very very cheap..

Seems like a good deal
If I pay with PayPal do I get charged a fee
you may end up drinking (replaceable) battery discharged juices
Kiss of death when water gets into the lid and you go for a sip
I would be careful ordering anything above £15 as will attract VAT and handling fee which in the case of this product will be around £10.50.
If you are prepared to pay £26+ for this bottle just go ahead!

It's doubtful that this would attract customs charge as it is not worth more than £135, and the VAT would be nominal (£3 or so) and so probably overlooked.

I hope you have read HM costoms recently. Everything above £15 attracts VAT. I do talk from experience as i just had a leaflet from RMail through the post for an item bought from Ali Express totaling £18.08 with 11.85 to pay for Vat and handling. Funny thing is that i bought 2 separate items 9.04 each on two separate orders and seller decide to save on postage and screw me over with charges. They are going back as i am not picking them up as it would of cost me less to buy them from UK.

I have also bought items for more than £15 from AliExpress with no handling fees or VAT added, so I think it is just luck of the drawer. I co-wrote this recently so have a good idea of customs and tax: hotukdeals.com/dis…660
