Best thing i’ve bought in a LONG time. I bought the pro on xmas day when it was £449 plus 10% off everything at halfords which took it to £409...i used topcashback and i used another 10% work discount which got me the pro for around £353!

Anyways, have been riding for nearly a month. Got the tyres slimed. Rode past at least a dozen police officers who dont care (i do wear a high vis, helmet, have flashing lights) and ride on cycle paths and ride considerately. Its reduced my driving massively (a dirty diesel auto). I worked out it costs me 6-7p to fully charge which gives me around 25 miles. I work 5 miles away which means i’m spending 12-14p to get to work a week...well i say me...i cheekily charge it at work😁 anyways, if more people bought these, it would help reduce the polluting cars on the road. And before someone says bike, a lot of people are lazy gits and this is imho a good alternative! Im also wary if more people get them in my city, the police may start cracking down. And yes i ride on public roads and pavements. Screw the outdated law esp when me being on it going work saves a sh*tload of co2 being released into the atmoshphere!

Thanks mate!

I bought from laptops direct last year for £350 but managed to get 10% off and even then I thought it was a cracking price. However that said, it was bound to come down in price especially with the m365 pro now out

Definitely, a little bit at topcashback as well helps.
I keep thinking that it's may be time I brought one and the price keeps tempting me (I was tempted at £399 in 2019, and now it's £280...). I moved out and live 4 miles away from my parents home. Not far really, 1 hour walk, £5 bus (single) or they come give me a lift to visit them (and back) (I can't drive as you can see). I am thinking of getting one to visit them more freely, but will only go via the smaller back pavements (I will not dare to ride on road). Only the last stretch is on an A road but there's a pavement which no one walks on. Think I'll be safe? lol (from people and police...)

It's sad that I ask this considering I see people in London on them everyday. And even where I live I remembered a take away driver on one of them as he came into the shop to collect an order. So I feel I shouldn't need to ask, but given that at this price I feel like considering, I just wanted opinions.

Should put the £279 towards decent accommodation, I wouldn't let my animals sleep in that shanty

Yeah, remember that drunken night you sold me it for a fiver, best night if my life, I imagine worst for yours, however, there is a presence in the house that I've had to out up with, every morning when I wake up I here "GET OUT SWITCHY" I just assumed it was my missus
£299 at Halfords at the moment. If you're one of the many people who qualify for 10% off (through work, clubs, or British Cycling) then you get it for £270. halfords.com/kid…ack
The Pro version is £499, so £450 after discount, which is less tempting, sadly.
hUKd's claimed it was "off-topic" to quote the OP referencing where this scooter can't be used..

These are brilliant, got one for my lad at Xmas, great price
4 miles from mummy and daddy.....

Get a bicycle.
These are great, but if i cant use it anywhere without fear of loosing my license or something its a waste of money.

Don't do it as if you get stopped you face big fines and 9 points if the copper wants to do you for the offences. That's without the seizure of the scooter.
Bicycle.....with electric assist,ie battery and a motor, legal for on road use and proper sized wheels for our uk pothole filled roads, and you can still use it when the battery goes flat.

In addition to that, roads in Manchester are bloody rollercoasters and it's fairly easy to damage your car, can't imagine catching a pot hole with this, would be lucky to survive, especially at full speed
Everything is great until you get a flat tyre. You need the strength of Eddie Hall to change the tyre. What the hell were Xiaomi thinking.

Just fill the tyre up with slime.... it will automatically seal any holes straight away if you go over any nails

Ha true, I have no idea what they were thinking. I dread every time I need to change the tyre as I know it will involve a LOT of swearing, sweating, bent spoons, damaged fingers and black stinking hands

And what if you knocked someone over causing an injury? You won't have insurance, so you'll be stuck with the £2k or £3k personal injury claim plus legal costs. That's why you're not supposed to ride them on pavements.
Ahhh I want one of these. But not sure if I should wait for a good deal on the pro. Any advice from people that have purchased would be appreciated.
