Could you please share? I keep seeing Xiaomi phones pop up and many are …Could you please share? I keep seeing Xiaomi phones pop up and many are at the same price point so I'm wondering why that is.

Well here goes...
You have the redmi 5 budget
You have the A's which are budget (redmi 5A)
You have the S's which are just above budget (redmi s2) (same as redmi 5 plus)
You have the notes which are premium budget (redmi note 5)
The mi a1/a2 which are premium budget.
You have the numbered xiaomi 's the mi6 for example which are premium.
You have the Mi Max in the Phablet premium.
You have the Mi mix/Mi8 which are flagship.

Then of course you have the Mi notes to add to the equation, which in themselves are premium handsets, then you have many iterations of iterations for different markets /countries and iterations.

I really hope I have not confused you, because I have most certainly confused myself.

Nice battery, looks like I could cancel my weights class at the gym if I used this phone with alternate arms.
Mi Mix actually has got B20😁

Correction strike one
The new mi MAX 3 seems to have band 20 but still no NFC

Double that of the lower average phones, 1.5 times that of many. Gsmarena says 126 hours. (20 hours screen time)

£137? Aliexpress?
Fantastic phone. I love mine. Great battery and brilliant screen. I paid just under 200 last November and wouldn't swap it for a phone for times the cost.

At £199 it will go mega hot. Amazing value at or below £150.
Slight OT but I'm looking to get a smaller Xiaomi phone from eglobal for under £200, one with a 18:9 display.
Which is best for what I need? Redmi 5 Plus or Note 5 Pro?

I have no idea what your issue is, yours went to 170degrees,and this is barely luke warm.

I think this is a good price as their is (virtually) guaranteed no customs.
6.44 inches. That's tablet!
Does anyone have an infographic to explain the different Xiaomi ranges?

So this is a Max which doesn't feature in your list? Unless it's a Mi Max but that makes it premium phablet for the same price as a premium budget redmi Note 5.

Yep, typing this reply on a mi max V1, if you can handle the size and put up with the mediocre camera (unless perfect lighting) then its a lot of phone for the money.

Max 3 camera should be an improvement - same camera as the note 5 which we bought as an upgrade to the note 4 - camera is a vast improvement

Yep! That's xiaomi for you I'm afraid, all over the joint. The camera on the note 5, is better than the mi max 2..

But don't forget, the max 2 came out in July of last year, whereby the note 5 was only released a few months ago, that'll explain the pricing.... Probably.
Had one of these for around 12 months now and all I can say is what a fantastic phone. Had around 8 updates in the past year and the battery life is amazing around 2 days with a lot of usage, the most I have had is just under 7 days with light usage. The only downside is the camera is not very good in low light. If you have bad eyes like me or just like a massive phone this is a great choice, cannot wait for the mi max 3 😃 mine does not have band 20 but I get 4G no problem with a o2 sim and my Tesco sim.

The note apparently has a better camera, better processor, bluetooth 5.0 so I'd go for this one. There are 2 more phones which meet your strict criteria but I wouldn't recommend any of them (Redmi S2 , Mi A2 32GB version) unless 32GB non-expandable storage is fine for you.
Does this have a FM radio fitted on this phone
Best phone money can buy. Until the Mi Max 3 Pro, which would then be worth the upgrade.

Yes
How long until the Mi Max 3 is available easily in the UK? (Also, when is the pro out?)
This phone is amazing. No nfc which is a tad sad but my watch has that so not to bad I don't like the fact you can't use your Bluetooth devices to unlock the phone though unless it's a xiaomi device
I typed in this phone in Google search and on the side panel where it shows places that sell the product, it came up at eglobal for £142.99, and that was less than a week ago!?!?!?!?! This site is strange!?!?!?!?!?

Hence expired.
