Using facebook code Facebook0713 you can get this repeater down to USD 5.99. Good price for the gen2.
TBH I'm a xiaomi fan, but dislike wifi or even repeater, but can't go much wrong at this price huh?
They mentioned in facebook that there are only 500 codes left.

There's postage to pay as well if I recall.
This thing is rubbish. It's not an amplifier as it creates a new network.

If u name network the same as existing network it works as an extension of ur network, not a new one.

It's not rubbish. I have one and it works perfectly.
I have just had one delivered from Gearbest works well. But you need to change your region in the app to China as I had mine as Europe for my xiaomi ip camera but it wouldnt connect up to this.

Well, as far as I know the app is in Chinese, unless you're fluent there maybe difficulties. I have the English version and that took a little research to set up.

But surely you get a slight connection loss when your device moves from 1 access point to the other even though they are using the same ssid, you need the newer mesh stuff to stop that happening

Agreed. I have the English version and works fine with my Plusnet router. Also, I get another for my father in law, and it works well with his Virgin Media router.
Anyone get this to work with Sky? Heard for some unknown reason it doesn't work
