Shame
Now have the mi mix 2, A2 lite and a redmi note 6 pro. I have spent less than £450 on all three.
I ain't buying any more!!

We know you are only writing this so we nudge you towards buying another one so here it is. They all start showing their age. Mix is 2 generations old, so is the note. Just think of all these awesome camera sensors they put into phones these days. And did I mention all the new more powerful and energy efficient processors?. So Go on and buy one , you won't regret it.
Hahaha. I bought my mi mix 2 6gb/128gb for just over £200. The ironic thing is I can make just about all if that money back by selling it. Usually after a year I want to give up my phone, but now I don't see any reason to. That means my wife noticed I am not spending in gadgets, so she can now bend my arm to spend it on the Created and Craft channel !!
I got this phone when it was £199 from John Lewis. It's a good phone, however the battery usage in standby mode was really high for me so I returned it. Anyone thinking of buying this, maybe worth looking into this.

i bought and returned to JL also. Bought it for my mum and it started showing ads in the menu screen and after any app was installed with no cancel or back button meaning mum would often install that also. You had to click on a different part of the screen to get rid of the ad, not come across ads in the OS of a phone before. JL were good with returns though. Anyone else had problem with ads on Xiaomi phones as looking to buy a new low/mid-range phone and XIaomi seem to be best bang for buck.

Strange that. Got my wife's from ebuyer (!) and never had any ads at all. Haha, maybe it's an Amazon endorsed phone

Using a Mi8 to write this on, had it since March from ebuyer, not seen a single ad either!

Approx 7 days, if you order it tomorrow (mon 7th), you should receive it either next Monday (14th) or Tuesday (15th). It's a good phone for the price, recommend it. Xiaomi have been quick to release security software updates too for this, so it stays current.
One of the main reasons it's a good phone is because it's built using the Qualcomm 845 SoC (System on a chip)/modem chipset.+ the Amoled screen is bright/superb, less power and much better than LCD, the blacks are pretty black, so dark mode works well. It's a practical phone too, because it charges so quickly. 30-40 mins will get approx 50% charge.

Surely it's Android one? I can't see Google signing it if with ads? Potential rogue app?
