What constitutes a phablet these days? My Mi 9 looks like a kids toy next to my Mi Max 2.
The original Phablet was the Note 1, I've never heard the term redefined since.
Edited by: "realdeals" 15th Jun
They did redefine it, they started calling 'Phablets' phones
Who redifined it, look.

Best Phablet phones 2019

I always thought the Note was a phablat well that's what they called it. The Max 2 only has a 6.4" screen, the Mi9 is .4" smaller.
Is the OP7 Pro is that a Phablet or a Phablet phone as that has a bigger screen than the Mi Max 2.
Phablet phone or Phablet equals the same thing a big screened phone.

Remove the teardrop notch and you have the perfect flagship killer, or add band 20 to the k20 pro. Come on Xiaomi! I'm desperate to update my mi8 but this isn't the answer. Still a hot deal though!

Had this in my basket and went back to YouTube to look at the video playback in full screen ... I just can't deal with that notch

The camera isn't as good on the K20 pro unfortunately so a steady hand will be needed especially in low light.

There isnt much between the two and it will come down purely to what you can live without.

It"s not really an issue seen as you can hide the notch, the next best to this is the K20 pro and the Mi9 beats it in many key areas.
I can't make my mind up between the Mi9 and the K20 Pro (which be the Mi9T Pro) but at £330 I will take a punt and sell on if they don't bump up too much on the MI9T Pro. Hopefully they will have the Mi9's camera in the global version.

I think you'd need a steady hand with this too as it has no OIS...

Surely the camera performance is that same with both devices? Rear that is...

Mi9 has better len's and a CLM system , i haven't seen this confirmed on the K20/Pro.
The camera department would be where Redmi would make cuts, when something is cheaper and made by the same company there is always a reason why.

So it's possible that the Mi9T Pro if and when it does arrive, will have the same hardware as the Mi9 and not the K20 Pro..?
It depends on what they want to do as the Mi series Is flagship level, so one would expect it will not be exactly the same as the K20 Pro.
The specs will be inline with the Mi9
Same lenses as the MI9 or improved.( Mi9 Battle Angel uses a 1.4 aperture lens)
Qi
27 watt charging across the board.
IR
They may even remove the 3.5mm phone back, as this seems to be what's happening at the top end and Mi users are already used to not having it.
Do you get charged import duty and tax from buying from Gearbest?
I've not heard anyone say they have paid any duties, for years now.

From personal experience I never have, I believe they drop ship into the EU and then on to the customer negating duties.

Yep the bands match the global version.
I'm considering trading in my s10+ for this phone also getting cash my way. Does anyone think this is a good phone and how does it compare against my s10+
