Seems a very good price and from UK...what phone would this rival from the top brands like Samsung etc?
Had this phone and loved it but battery was woeful. The rapid charge was superb, just inconvenient having to charge due to not lasting a full day. Lots more pros than cons, great device!

Heat given, Switchy.
I was about to bite and order the Mi 9se today but I think this has swayed me.

Rival is probably the wrong word, but they tried to compete against the s10s of the world, I'll let you decide which is best.

@MrSwitch Any chance you've spotted a good deal on the Mi A3 lately? Need to get one for my daughter...
Was going to press the buy button on this but then remembered the bad battery size this phone has. Why Xiaomi, why!

Super fast charge in the car and at home maybe answers your woes.
Been wait for a good deal on the 9T Pro, but they are few and far between at the moment.

Cheapest at the minute for 64gb is £123
m.aliexpress.com/ite…tml

Same seller has the 128gb for around £135.

Possibly cheaper through DWI eBay?
What madness is this?!?
I got the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro 6GB/128GB Dual Sim for a tenner less than this before Xmas.

The AliExpress deal says it ships from the EU so no £13 import duty to pay on top. A net price of £123 is tempting especially given that in two weeks time, tariff-free imports from the EU might no longer exist.

Didn't realise there were battery issues. That's now planted a seed of doubt . I keep jumping between the Mi 8, 9SE, 9 and now the Mix 2S and 3 have dropped as well.

Just posted it, didn't realise it shipped from the EU, cheers for that bud.
Would this be a decent upgrade to my dying S8 or best waiting until after Feb when latest models get released?

I'd wait for the 10 if it were me.
Superb phone for the price, heat added...... I had one for about a month before my daughter but it through the washing machine!!!! And no it's NOT waterproof 😩. I did find that the battery life was terrible and had to wireless charge a couple of times a day to top it up. I've ended up getting a redmi note 8 Pro 6gb 128gb and it's much better for what I want out of a phone. Battery life is amazing, super fast, bigger screen, camera excellent and cheaper. Oh and tbh I haven't missed the amoled screen as the screen on the note 8 Pro is great. Just my thoughts that's all.
I have the Xiaomi pocophone F1. I want to upgrade it which one should I go for @ MrSwitch?

While there's not any battery issues per se, it's more to do with the battery size. 3300mah is a tad on the small size. I would perfer at least 4000mAh on a new phone.

Can you wait until the mi 10 is announced? Then decide, that's what I'd do anyway.

There's no realistic risk of tariff free imports disappearing until at least the end of the year. The transition agreement by both sides ensures this will be in place from the day we leave.

I'm currently managing this for a major UK importer so have had plenty of conversations with customs experts.
Ohh, I don't know!!. I really want the 9t Pro at this price and will happily sacrifice wireless charging over bigger battery and no notch.
Any other areas the Mi 9 beats the 9T Pro?

Slightly, and I mean slightly better camera. No pop up that may have a shorter shelf life.

It does, not massively so though, it's more about having a nothc free screen.
Seems to have disappeared

Market dependant. Haven't even thought or looked into it mate. At a guess£500 - £600 uk, £350 - £450 China price.
