Dear Mr Switch..I have been following your threads with interest and I will be grateful for your help:

1- Which is better deal..this or the Mate 20 pro from O2 (If I can get it)

2- Will there be any import duties? Only bought cheap cables from Gearbest before.

Many thanks
Mate 20 deal is dead now isn't it?

I ordered mine when they were in stock this morning and O2 are giving me the run around!

Very little chance of import duties, not something to completely rule out though
9t or 9 lite? I really can't decide... Looking at 9t 128gb at £232 vs 9 lite at £188. 9t slightly better processor, slightly worse camera, essentially bezel-less. 9 lite £44 cheaper, less storage (but cancels out with sd card slot), teardrop. Argh!

I don't think you notice much camera wise, and I'm certain the processor in this will last you longer than the one on the 9 Lite. If you keep your phone for a while that is. The 730 is a much more efficient processor too.

710 fast enough though I'd think? I don't game or do anything super intensive, mainly just browse and take photos, so battery, camera and a nice screen are my main concerns.

Well in that case, go with the savings, like you say, you can't go wrong with either.
diffrences between this and 9T pro is apart from the processor is the camera better on the pro

Not anything you'd notice really, shoots better in 4k and that's about it iirc.

Ah yeah saw those guys when I was looking earlier, think I was looking at the Pro then so I'll have another mooch for the standard, cheers.
Super hot deal!
F**k me that's cheap! Hot!
Approaching that £200 mark soon
Tempted but Is this much of a step up from the Mix 2s? May wait for for the 9t pro to go sub £250 if not!

A credit card via Paypal is what I use. Belt and...another belt.

Is it better to add the shipping guarantee?

I never have, you're covered anyway by PayPal.

If you're worried about paying with PayPal don't be.
I've just been refunded by PayPal for an eglobal phone that never turned up.

Banging deal this is. Probably better than the mate 20 Pro. Though the camera is marginally better on the mate.
That's what I am thinking...and without the O2 cancellation hassle. One more question before I bite...how does phone compare to honor view20?
I'm really happy with my Honor view 20. Camera is the 48Mp beauty. The Mi 9T was may alternate, but the Honor deal came through first. I did pay 249gbp.
I've owned this mobil for a few month now and I'm very pleased with it. Never had a Xiaomi before, always had Samsung flagships When my Note8 started playing up I looked at the new 10 but did not want to pay that much so I decided to try this one. I do play games but they run smooth and you get a great battery life. My only trouble was with android auto at first but Xiaomi released an update and that solved the problem.

You can get the 128gb version for not much more if you need that much storage
What would happen if the phone randomly broke (through no fault of the user)?
Is it covered via Xiaomi?

This is a good price but I'm thinking that it's worth paying a bit more for a UK warranty. Then again, it is a cheap phone so paying £120 for a warranty that may not be used is overkill.

No coverage at all, its the risk you take for cheap prices I suppose.

Thanks bigtom, bought the 128GB from eBay. Have the Mi Mix 3 129GB and love it. Only thing it is very heavy. Will compare both and sell one of them . Cheers
