Awesome price
Bought this a month ago from eglobal. Absolutely no complaints at all. Great piece of kit
Amazing price. As an owner of the mi 9 though, these price drops are painful
Are you sure about the 2 year UK warranty?
I think you would have to send it to China.
Xiaomi in the UK insists that eGlobals phone's are not covered by their warranty as they are imports from Hong Kong. I'm still tempted to take the risk, but it would certainly be a warranty gamble.

Orderd 64g version month ago still havent got it, apparently stock was ment to come in today still no update 😞
Ordered Mi8 from eglobal with insurance. Item arrived to uk but local delivery clowns aka Hermes seems to lost the parcel. Their tracking says "We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours" but that was 26th and today is 28th.

Hermes don't even have a contact no and website says contact retailer. Anyway sent a message to egs asking for help and if not refund. Worst case I'll open PayPal dispute.

This is the first time I face any issue with egs. I used them more than 20 times within last two years.

Just ordered this yesterday from AliExpress for £242 from the seller Mi Global Store. Have bought from them before successfully, so fingers crossed I won't have any issues!

They also allegedly have a 1 year warranty, but like other posters I'm dubious of whether this will actually be of much use.

Bigspin, exactly the same problem, I paid the extra £7 insurance cover, eglobal were happy to to send me another not insured, if I wanted it insured I would have to pay for insurance again.

On the basis Hermes Hermes website said initially Damaged beyond repair and when eglobal enquired it stated lost in transit.

Not impressed with eglobals customer service.

Basically they are now refunding my money less insurance paid, and said if I want another to place an order via there website, as per the T&C's.

My other phone M9 T Pro came through no problems, great phone

I'm guessing if you don't take the insurance and myhermes screws up you're potentially out of pocket? Or would PayPal cover it?

My 128GB came in 4 days!
RE warranty worries, my view is it's a £250 phone from a company with a good track record with respect to reliability.

I suspect the only thing it likely does is save a battle with eGlobal. Though evidently their 'insurance' is a single-use affair based on Lez's experience; that's kinda poor given the relative large cost for an insurance product of this nature.
Xiaomi mi 9t Pro 6gb ram 64gb in Blue is available for about £270 on gearbest. I'd rather have the mi 9t Pro for the extra £15.

Half the storage though....so not really comparing like with like
You will be taking a chance buying from eGlobal. There seems to be some kind of scam going on with them as so many people reporting not receiving their mobile phone. Surely if hermes was at fault, the police over here would have been investigating mass scale theft? I just got my money back from PayPal for redmin note 7 ordered last month, but never received. Best to avoid all the hassle and inconvience of trying to recover your hard earnd cash.
I bought the same phone - except in black - from eglobalcentral.eu when it was posted on HotUKDeals at the end of August. Here is my experience. Ordered and paid using Halifax Clarity. Did not take out insurance. Received order confirmation email 26 August. Being packed email 5 September. Dispatched email 6 September. Delivered by UPS 12 September. I checked the warranty online using IMEI.info. At that time it was a free service. The report indicates 12 month warranty and the warranty region is Malaysia. If I have any issues with the phone I expect I will have to claim via my Nationwide FlexPlus account.
Mine still says Processing - any idea how long until these are dispatched?
