Never had a problem with gearbest
Anyone have one of these or another phone with MIUI 10 and comment on the OS ease of use and reliability?
Would it be easy enough for someone used to pretty stock android (Motorola phones recently) and not very tech savy?
My mum is wanting a new phone with a good camera for about £300 and not sure if i should be suggesting this??
Thanks (voted hot for the price)..

Probably not no, miui is quite a heavy skin on android, I'd suggest sticking to an android one xiaomi, like the A3, A2 etc.

The shipping guarantee means your phone will be covered if lost in the post etc. Nothing to do with tracking numbers etc.

I went from my pixel 2 to my current Mi9t and I'm as happy with this phone as I was with the pixel. Admittedly I've changed the launcher to nova launcher Pro but that's only because I insist on having an app drawer and I like having the Google feed on the left most page.

No complaints about MIUI 10. And no bugs I've noticed either
Awesome deal though like everyone else I'm hoping for lower
@MrSwitch any decent offers on the Mi 9 Pro that you know of anywhere?

Ye it's annoying really for me I don't really care for the 5G side of things, but the rest of the specs like the battery capacity are what the Mi 9 should have had from the start!

I would respectfully disagree with @MrSwitch and say that MIUI 10 (and 11) will be absolutely fine if coming from Stock Android.
i have gone from OnePLus 3 to Mi 9T, and its absolutely fine. If you don't like the MIUI launcher, it's very easy to change the launcher in something like Lawnchair, Nova, or Poco or even Google's own (which seems to be the same as the launcher used on recent Motos).

The quick shortcuts and notifications are similar to each other. The only real difference is in the settings, but it isn't any real hassle. I reckon anyone will be able to deal with MIUI, unless you reallly, REALLY want to stick with Stock.

Google Now launcher has been out of action for a while now.
Other than that, I agree
I wonder which between Gearbest and eGlobal is the safer option

Is WiFi calling like using WhatsApp?

Is WiFi calling like using WhatsApp?

It is in a way yes, but its slightly different because wifi calling uses your number to ring or text. Whatsapp can ring even without number once set-up.
But not all people or new numbers that you dont know will ring through whatsapp or viber.
Example, if hospital rang you on your number and you have no network at home or poor network you'd miss that call, but if you had wifi calling turned on on a phone and were connected at home or even underground then your phone would ring on your number through wifi.
Hope that makes sense.

I see what you mean! Didn't know that was a thing. That'd be useful at my parents house.
This or Mi Mix 3?
Eglobal or gearbest?

After the disappointment of the pixel 4 Im leaning towards this until something better comes along. Any feedback on the camera, read mixed reviews, but guessing it will be better than my lgv 20.
