I just about get by with 32gb.
I tend to delete my photos once Ive got about 8gb worth (they automatically upload to both onedrive and google)

64gb would be more than enough for my needs.

By today standards its more than enought, especailly with things like google photos, and people using streaming servies rather thtn downloading loads of songs
I'll wait for Mrs Witch to comment before casting my vote...

For those of you who don't like Miui ROM [Video]

Why would you put this buggy rom on it ?
There is clear stuff that dont work and you would lose your camera capabilities and usability.

Almost £50 CHEAPER AT BANG....
Less storage tehan the other deal but still a cracking price, considering you have a 2 yr warranty.
Heat added.

It is definitely too low for me. I won't go any less than 128gb.
I'm currently running 64gb internal and 128gb expandable and combined I'm using over 50% of it.
@MrSwitch

Any opinions on this ??

Kindest regards

Good phone for the money.

I'd get the mi 9t non pro and save £150 personally, but you'd be buying from China and not everyone is that way inclined.

You will never have the same camera functionality unless someone can port the camera and won't happen anytime soon and the rom will be discontinued very soon as people move to Q.
I fail to see the point of removing a fully functional rom and installing a half baked one offering less speed and battery life.

I'm with you on this. Now that storage is so cheap it probably costs more to have two production runs and different packaging and so on than just putting a decent amount on board. It's nice not having to worry about decent WiFi, or 4G to fall back on all the time.

Hi Mrswitch,
I have the Mi mix 3 and love it.
Any recommendations of who to buy the mi 9t from in China . I want to buy for my wife who is using an LG G6. Thanks Pajoe

I'd generally go with either eglobal, gearbest or Toby if it were me.

The state that the current ROMs are in now I'd have to agree. The only ROM I'd consider flashing on my mi9t is the xiaom.eu one but for now I'm actually quite happy with the stock Global ROM (especially as the notifications disappearing issue is not on his phone)

Well there is a camera port already and Miui is slower than the custom ROMs. Miui also lags when it comes to Citra Emulator.
Are you talking about this.

ABOUT URNYX 6.2
+ Button to change between cameras
+- No XML's (Plug-and-Play)
- No EIS
- Video 60fps doesn't work
- Slow Motion Mode doesn't work
- Change to Main Lens to go to Settings or else will FC
- Lens Distortion in Ultrawide Lens
- Black Crush (it's actually exactly the same as on the Pixel 3 now)
- Focus Tracking is disabled on purpose (on 6.2 enabling it causes video mode to crash the app)
- Ultrawide is 12MP only (raw is saved with the full 16MP)

Why would someone want to use this.

Miui is faster than OOS and OOS is hyped as the fastest.

If the emulator lags it's the emulator, most of them lag on every device.

Yeah EU is pretty stable with updates averaging 1 every 10 days and battery life pretty much the same as the official rom.
There are some nice changes arriving very soon with Miui 11.

The funny thing is. My Google pixel 2. Which is not Chinese I'm chucking in the bin because of camera issues. I can access anything camera app relates. Google wanted me to send my phone in but they said it's now been void as there is a crack on the screen. Useless. At least with the redpro you can instal other ROMs. Google support on this pixel 2 issue is the worst.

Yeah remove the hype and the Pixel devices ain't great, I had a couple of the Nexus range and I wont be buying another of their devices in a hurry.
No matter who makes it for them, they make them cut back on quality and fit the bare minimum.
