Out of interest, what would be the prefered retailer to use if you had to pick from one of the following:

Gearbest
Eglobal
or
Aliexpress

I would say eglobal then ali express. Only had bad experiences with gearbest.
You going to buy the pro or non Pro then switchy if any?
Hot cause its not the Note 10 at nearly 4 times the cost and yet same performance if not better!

It'll be non pro for me, the 64gb at gearbest is like £120 cheaper than this, and me being a tight wad, I like to save money, whilst spending money
How do you get the 5% code? or am I thick?

Gearbest for me - Never had an issue nor customs interferences.

Exactly what I did the price/performance isn't worth the extra £120, I bought the non pro version for my wife and run it for a week it's snappy but I miss my OnePlus, I used to love miui but OnePlus unfortunately pips it

Bear in mind the 9t also has a worse camera than the pro! It's not only performance that's worse.

Really? I always use Ali for my purchases.

I've never had custom charges from gearbest and eglobal, I've also had every phone I've bought from those two in 12 days.

Ali I've had vat charges, plus 30 day delivery times.
I'm annoyed you didn't notify me about this phone Witchy
Actually nevermind, it's still more than I'd be comfortable paying to a Chinese seller.

So just comparing specs on GSM Arena - this phone versus the mi 9t All I can see is a better CPU in this and faster charging.
Is that really the only difference?
If so, surely the mi 9t is far better value for money than this mi 9t pro?
Better camera on Mi 9t pro
Mi 9t pro has a Sony IMX 586, which differs from the IMX 582 only for the capacity of recording video to 4K 60fps instead of 4K 30fps
Ma5Dr0id23/08/2019 18:26

Better camera on Mi 9t pro

Is that definite?
I've got both phone specs open in GSM Arena. Are they wrong?
I'm amazed HUKD allow eglobal central deals but refuse all sorts of others. There are so many bad reviews of people buying tech from the company and having problems, even losing their money. I'd proceed with extreme caution!
The pro has faster processor, slightly better main camera sensor (4k 60fps), faster charging and dual gps.

I'm not sure I understand. How can you tell if two cameras are the same just by comparing specs on GSM Arena?

There are comparisons online (YouTube)
There is a difference but comparisons are using the stock camera app instead of gcam which is much better.

For the extra £100 or more you need to factor in if its worth it.

Do you really need a sliiiiightly better camera that most people probably will never even notice?
Do you really need the better fast charging? (along with the appropriate cable and expensive charger everywhere you intend on charging). The battery lasts a long time as it is.
Do you really need dual GPS for some reason?
Do you need the 855 cpu? The 730 is very capable and more battery efficient along with being virtually identical in real world usage, only being beat on very very high graphic games and even then not by much.

For the extra £100+ notes naahhh

There are a few other things like the storage type is different (technically faster) and the screen is better (it's a little brighter)

The extra price is probably justified if you care about the above. But we be cheap!

It also has Super Amoled screen.
Non pro, no wireless charging

unfortunately, neither have wireless charge capability

No Super Amoled on any of the versions just standard Amoled

Same display only slightly brighter. Everything is pretty much the same and I'm sure if they use the Google Cam the pictures would look identical.

They needed to add more features to make the £100 difference more worthwhile and the 730 is battery efficient and snappy at day to day task.
Also the Amoled is good but the ones used on Samsung phones are a notch above the rest, different class.

The Gcam.pictures are not better as you do not have full access to the cameras capabilities.
Someone shows you 3 pictures and tells you to look at 1 section of the picture, how is that better?
No wide
No zoom
No video
No full body selfie
No panorama
No timelapse
No slow motion
no super slow mo
just a few hand picked stills.
Most don't tell you about the bugs the crashes and how it can wreck your devices.
Gcam is all rave with the modders so youtubers just make videos to get likes and subs as they are the bulk of peeps watching device reviews.
You really have to take most you see with a pinch of salt these days, I have yet to install Gcam on anything and it beat the stock camera on a current device. I always end up uninstalling it.

Damn I see they have a Pearl white version too(horror)
I like the way Xiaomi do that it looks like ceramic.

The urge is on me again I just have too many blue phones at the Mo.. It looks like the Mi9 is going to bite the dust after less than a month, watching that rapid wireless charge is a thing to behold. But I missed out on the white MI8 and this one looks too good to pass up.
The Mix 4 is very close so dare I?
