All good... I'm thinking about getting an S10, any thoughts on where I should get it from?
I'm a bit dubious about these as the reports were they wouldn't release the 9T Pro in the 256gb variant. Which makes me worry it's really a K20 Pro and lacking B20. But it does say quite clearly in the specs that it covers B20 so who knows.
main differences btw pro & 9T?
Is it just a lightly faster processor & 4k at 60fps?

Is it worth the extra outlay??

Nope! In my opinion n get the mi 9t.
Great price if you need the higher storage, if not save some money with the 64 or 128 version.

Well, I'm kind of semi serious as my S8 has google maps burnt on the screen, saw the recent offer about the free watch which is kind of tempting, cheapest I've found was £638 on Amazon who are participating in this deal... but then I've seen it at £425 with UKSpecTech (never heard of them, eglobal types), which basically means the watch is not free, I'm all of a dither

Probably less so than Samsung to be honest....

Unless you want to Sign up to Mi Cloud its just standard sign your life to Google as per an Android phone.....most the anti Xiaomi rumours are spread by Apple and Samsung flagship upgraders who've been mugged...

I've not, what is it? A special eGlobal edition?

Ah I think I see. The 10% eBay offer. I'm a bit reluctant with that as none of the offers seem to say if it's Chinese or International versions. Probably not worth the risk until it gets a wider release I guess.

Looks a nice bit of kit that, I may wait a while then until S11 time. see if any S10e's are going cheap

Be really cheap when the S12 is out

Seriously though, just picked 2 up for £400 each, brand new. Love having a smaller form factor phone again!

£535,

got 385 for the old note 9 which was 128gb single sim, a year old and no accessories and was not perfect condition

the way I see it, im paying £150 extra for 512gb, 8gb, dual sim, rare colour & brand new which im happy with

basically the ultimate note 9 spec for £150 extra

Sounds good to me, plus in that gorgeous white colour, I still maintain (specs aside) that the note 9 was/is still one of the best looking phones to date.

It really is, and IMO is a true Swiss Army knife unlike the new notes, the “infinity O display” such a fancy name for a ugly design imo, just wait till next year when they ditch it, it will look even more hideous, it’s only okay today because it’s the latest offerings from Samsung l, if it wasn’t so bad why does Samsung go out there way to try hide it with dark cornered wallpapers lmao

Where did you get it and how much?!!!!
Pretty sure this will be a K20 Pro with a flashed Global ROM - As far as I know, the 8GB / 256GB model was never released under the Mi 9T brand.

@MrSwitch I'm thinking of getting an iPad Pro for my digital art. I've heard there's not much difference between the gen 2 and 3. Is it worth waiting or would it be safe to get one now?

Agreed. I've got a Mi 9T and I didn't bother even signing into Mi Cloud, and uninstalled any Mi apps that I could, and I don't think I've had a single notification since bugging me. Much easier than a Samsung which really pesters you to use their stuff.

I'm not naive enough to think that means they're not tracking me at all - I'm sure there's plenty of hidden stuff in the firmware, but that's the unfortunate reality on any smartphone.
