Buuuuuut.... This is a £345 phone, so kind of an acceptable comparison.

Kind of. But this is Xiaomi and whilst having a good spec otherwise, non-expandable 64gb ought to be a deal killer these days.

Fab spot and EU warranty to boot

£299 incoming for Black Friday me thinks!!
Nice price for an Amazon deal. I'm guessing 2 year warranty with it also.

I'd recommend Starling Bank for a debit card with no currency fee transaction charges, and the MasterCard bank rate for exchange. Most useful for overseas funding and transactions.
Bit expensive for 64gb these days when it can't be upgraded either.
This or mix 4????!
Any reason to get this over the great value Xiaomi Redmi Note 7? Worth the extra money?

Depends what you're doing with it, but I'd say for the general use, no.
Tempted, but didn’t know there would be currency charges. How much do banks normally charge to buy things in a different currency??
Would love to get this phone but I really hate MIUI. A third party launcher is not enough to rid of the whole system UI of MIUI :/

Got my Mi 9 128Gb from Amazon Spain, for about the same price, fast delivery and well pleased with the phone. All thanks to MrSwitch.

On this £359.89, its amazon's ridiculous exchange rates not the bank, hence why paying with a fee free card gives you a flat payment, and no extra percentage onto the price.

I know what you mean, came from AndroidOne to the MIUI, didn't get on with it the 1st time I had it but using it with Nova Launcher this time and we're getting on a lot better

Eeh that’s a good price, I’d buy one right now but it sort of feels like these phones prices are in freefall right now. Which is ace! But when they probably have very little resale value then every £ counts!!

Yeah, called edwaybuy Europe, but based in China.
@MrSwitch hi Switchy, I was just wondering which you would recommend - either the Mi Mix 3 5g or the Mate 20 x 5g?? Cheers

The Xiaomi as its cheaper. But as an all out package the mate 20 x 5g, better still, get the mate 20 x standard
Cheers, I've gone for the Mate 20 X 5g (my provider didn't stock the standard 1), only because it was similar price to the Mix 3 5g for what I needed but I think the battery was probably the deal winner for me. Plus I got a free M Pen (whatever that is ).

Cheers though for your input 🍻

Big is brilliant, trust me you'll bloody love it.
So far so good (although it took most of yesterday to swap all my crap from my honor 9

Whats more annoying is that I didn't realise that it only takes Huawei's own nano-sd cards - so I transferred half my photos etc on to my micro-sd thinking I could just put it in the mate 20 x 5g but no
Don't know if I can justify paying the £45/50 to buy 1 when the internal memory is probably big enough 🤷
