The Amazing Mi 9T Pro (Redmi K20 Pro) in Global version for under £375 quid....
Yes it has Band 20, Yes it has Google Play store

If it had a Samsung sticker on it you'd be paying double the price for this level of hardware....

Blue or Black Carbon finish

Usual China shopping caveats apply, personally I'd recommend paying with a credit card..just in case.

Probably still are If you want DHL......
Might be an obvious one for some. But with this having the 5G hardware I'm assuming it's good to go for the new speeds when they are nationally released. Or does it have to be a network (i.e three) carrier approved phone?

Mi 9T/Pro are not 5G handsets.

For a Xiaomi 5G handset you need to look at the Mi Mix 3 5G, there may be also be a 5G version of the Mi 9 coming soon

Is the only difference between this and the 9t the processor? £130 diffence seems a lot just for that.

The rear camera can also record 60fps 4k, while the regular 9T is only 30fps 4k.
Few other differences like battery charging etc

Oh, I thought that the 855 had the 5G modem in this. See, it's always worth asking questions. 😄
Maybe in a couple of years 5g will be widespread. Took O2 forever to cover where I live with 4g.
K20 or Mi 9T is next on my shopping list. Certainly will be my next phone and will hopefully last me atleast a few years.
Just a bit of clarification for you I don't believe you got section 75 cover with a credit card on aliexpress because you pay aliexpress who hold the money for 60 days or until you confirm you received the phone if sooner before they pay the seller so it is deemed third party involvement and not a direct contract between you and the seller
Why would you buy this for £374 from China when you can get the Xiaomi MI 9 6gb 64gb global form China for £282 that's £92 difference for slightly bigger battery and a pop up selfie which is just another mechanical part that could fail at some point. The only other difference is the MI 9 has gorilla glass 6 and the Mi 9T has gorilla glass 5

The Pro also uses faster memory and also has faster 27w charging.

3300 battery on the mI 9 is quite a chunk smaller than the 4000 in the mi 9t
This got NFC? I know the Chinese K20pro does but the Indian K20pro doesnt for some stupid reason. Can't see NFC mentioned

And heads up. Have the Chinese k20 and although it has NFC you will struggle to use it to pay for anything. (ie Google Pay)

Could be the same with these.
Just about to pull the trigger and saw 64GB

I do remember reading the 9T Pro was using the 1.4um Battle Angle main sensor as opposed to what was in the K20 Pro.

So you can buy the Chinese version and flash global yourself and save a few quid?

Charging as well
So to sum up the differences I've seen mentioned between the Mi 9T/Pro

Mi 9T Pro

  • Snapdragon 855
  • UFS 2.1
  • 27 W max fast charge
  • 48 MP Sony IMX 586
  • Dual band GPS
  • 4K @ 60FPS

Mi 9T

  • Snapdragon 730
  • Unspecified storage type, possibly eMMC
  • 18 W fast charge
  • 48 MP Sony IMX 582
  • Single band GPS
  • 4K @ 30FPS

You would still have no band 20
I've just shared this https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/sWIxaySG">This which is the Chinese version with the global rom, specs are 8gb ram, instead of 6 that the European version has, with 128gb storage, in carbon black it works out £322, there seems to be some very good reviews although the NFC didn't seem to work but everything else does.
I'm not sure why this model above supports the band 20, because on every review I've read it doesn't support it, maybe they've updated it? Not sure... Please read the reviews, just in case, before you purchase it, but basically the Mi 9T Pro is the exact same model as the K20 Pro but you get better options on the K20 Pro, like 8gb ram which you can't get on the non Chinese version...

Snapdragon 730 compared to the 855, yeah it's a bit of a difference but check my link I've just shared, it's the same phone, it's a Chinese version but with a global rom installed, and you get the 8gb ram option

And no Band 20 ..so it will be useless on half the UK networks sadly....
