If you got the 'KNOCK KNOCK, OPEN UP! | It's Our Bestselling Phones at 50% OFF' email from GearBest yesterday you can click the link to go to the 64gb version of this phone for £167.26.

This is the link but I think you have to click via the email to get the email only price otherwise it shows at £181.71

gearbest.com/cel…d=4

Then you can click the $30 off $150 spend on this page - gearbest.com/m-p…sNL and apply your code which brings the price down to £144.45.

Go through Quidco to shave off a little more, even if you only get the %1 you're looking at around £143 for the global 64gb version which is as cheap as I've seen it..

I bricked my ZTE Axon 7 which I loved about 2 weeks ago - such a great phone - pity they discontinued it. I am stuck my old broken screen phone for now.

So, I am looking to buy this one too. I am thinking that I should not buy expensive phones as they don't last long enough with me.

Ive surprised myself and went with it... Here's hoping to a good experience!! And no customs charges...

I dropped my iPhone 5s in a toilet in Berlin in October... it was the second time it had been dropped in water. First time was in a small river! It had also been run over by my car, and dropped from a first floor window directly onto concrete. Could buy another second hand for less than it would cost to repair - again.
So was definitely no point trying to repair it just to get back the photos from Berlin

Excellent phone for the money the build quality is as good as £500 phones and it runs very near to stock Android as you can get. Heat added.

This puts me off from buying from them!! But reviews of the site seem alright from this site:

uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com

Based on the phone's hardware, the stock Android experience and the fairly good camera reviews this a great buy. However, the head SAR value on this is incredibly high. Some people won't give a toss but others will. If you're buying it for a child then have a really good think about it first.

Bought, I hope they will send the phone I have never ordered antything from China

Just had mine delivered from Aliexpress which I ordered on the 11th November 64gb version ..was able to track the delivery.. I paid about £155 less about £10 quidco cashback. .only gripe is the charge for using PayPal. .. 1st impressions are very good..feels very well built and it's very fast... so far so good

This is a seriously good price... and despite searching around for reviews all day I've been trying not to buy one...

EDIT: I didn't resist. Paying in USD using my Clarity card (via PayPal of course) should hopefully knock a few quid off the price too.

I wouldn't say incredibly high but 1.75 is above the recommended 1.6. Defo an eye opener, thanks.

This is a gem of a smartphone, as previously mentioned could easily pass for a £500+ model, and unquestionably midrange (yes midrange but low end price) smartphone of 2017 for me. (I was iPhone for 10 years, so I understand a decent smartphone.)

The SAR head figure is slightly worrisome, but within safety guidelines and not far off iPhone 7
I would not get this unit for a Child airing on side of caution and don't leave by head while sleeping on charge or off charge.

The OS etc will bring onboard storage to around 20GB, so possible worth considering if 64GB version would be better suited for needs, even just for future proofing.
The 64GB can be bought from banggood for £170 via TCB you get about a tenner back. So £20 more for double the storage.

Hope this helps someone!
Cheers

Ordered one thanks

Aww man, now all this SAR talk... I had almost convinced myself to get this. Now I might opt for the Moto G5 at O2..

Got this phone about 10 days ago and it's fantastic. Screen is good, battery life excellent, very fast when loading/switching apps, camera isn't amazing in terms of quickness of auto focus but quality is good when it does focus.

I paid £207 from the solution shop for the 64Gb version as I wanted warranty and didn't wait to wait a month for delivery from China.

Would definitely recommend.

Fingerprint sensor is also very fast and although it doesn't officially have quick charge, it charges from 0% in about an hour and and a half.

Took 14 days to receive my LETV X527 from China (Hong Kong) and 2 days from their Italian outlet for the same model.
Can't say I've got any complaints from Geekbuying, as I've also purchased MK808 TV sticks in the past.
