This is from Amazon Spain so you should get full warranty support. It says it is the Spanish version but I can only assume its the global version as Spain use the 800mhz Band 20 frequency like UK. In fact maybe there is only one version..

Pow another Xiaomi deal....Have some heat!!!
About 45 quid cheaper direct from China? At least we now have the option of warranty or no warranty (with the appropriate saving). Heat added.

Appliances direct do it for £220, but you can get £15 discount when you take out a £1 which? trial. TCB gives 2.1% cash back too.

    Exactly.
Its been out of stock, but noticed it was back in stock today.

    On Amazon Germany its €320!!
Good price for two years warranty, no customs and quick delivery.
Similar spec to Lenovo P2 but with much worse battery then.....

I wouldn't say it's amazing spec for the money....

But with an update to Oreo and most likely android P, plus from what I've seen a better camera.

Can see where your coming from though, Lenovo P2 is a great phone, shame three aren't selling it anymore...
Agreed with the post above the xiaomi has a better camera, USB c and most importantly it's a Android one device so will run way smoother and get longer software updates.
Yup,those android updates sell it for me

I'd rather staple my own head to a tree than buy anything from appliances direct.

It was delivery in a few days yesterday, obviously gone from stock..
I don't think it has the B20 frequency.

It does. Pity it doesn't have NFC though. I use that a lot so it's a no go for me but if it did I would be all over this.

Why do you think that? Looking at the majority for sale it seems to be global version, is there a non global version you have seen?

There are non-global versions without Band 20, although, on the questions and answers section of the page, it does state that band 20 is supported.

When are we going to see a model with NFC on it ? Would have went for it if it had .
Nice phone with a clean version of android. It'll get quick updates for future versions.

It's a pity they didn't include an NFC chip inside. It doesn't cost much to include it. It would have been a really nice budget/mid-range phone.

I saw it when it was first released, but on the various Mi.com websites relating to different countries. Some had B20 and some didn't. I couldn't tell you who sold the devices, I just know they exist.

Mi.com is where I looked, went through quite a few countries and they all showed having band 20.

I seem to recall a promise was (surprisingly) made at launch that the phone WOULD be getting Android P.

I guess I didn't look at those particular ones. I suppose the place we are likely to look for them for sale will be the global version..

Indeed. The ones for sale on Gearbest and AliExpress etc all seem to be the global version, which is probably a good thing as we have almost guaranteed compatibility with all UK networks.
