The phone itself and the price are both good. The nagging doubt is the seller.

Bought mine from laptopsdirect for just over 210 quid......can't fault the phone in any way.

I bought this recently as a second phone and have been seriously impressed. It's well built, has a long battery life and runs near stock android. Can't vouch for the seller tho'

Ive ordered a couple of things from banggood, no problems so far

No rose gold unfortunately!

Got this phone last week. For the price it's spot on. Won't get better

Who in their right mind would risk it to save £30 -£40 ? Probable VAT and import duties would wipe that out - then no warranty or possibility of returning if duff . A nice glossy website for the sheep or gamblers

Got mine from banggood took 10 days cost £180 less £10 TCB. Best smartphone I've ever owned. (iPhone owner for 10 years)

Got mine from Banggood took about 10 days. No issues and I love it.

Worth mentioning the SAR head level is on the high side, within safety standards
nevertheless I wouldn't recommend this unit for a child, and don't sleep right next to it.

I also have this phone, like you I love it, and its no great concern to me SAR head, it was mentioned on another thread, I thought I would mention it mainly if it's bought as a phone for a child.
Best airing on the side of caution.

Arguably the best phone in the world under £250 atm.

Those container ships are going to be full of these Chinese phones coming to the UK this year. Unfortunately if they go faulty you're stumped!

How safe is Banggood? Any customs / import charges made? When enquired with banggood they always say there could be charges and depands on individual country.

Mentioned this to my mate earlier and he leaves his iPhone on airplane mode at night. I take it this would avert any major issues with high SAR on an android phone too?

I would say the sheep are those who spend the largest part of a grand on a device just because it has an Apple or Samsung logo on it and comes with a (usually outdated and mostly useless) gimmick attatched.

I didn't get any. Value on the parcel was stated £15 ish. Don't agree with the practice but I'm not about to turn down a bargain either. Can't comment on Banggood beyond the 1 transaction.

High SAR values are not a clear indication of anything, just shows the maximum reading a phone has registered not necessarily day to day results. The fact that this is dual SIM might have something to do with it. Also, zero evidence that it actually causes any harm from what I've researched.

Excellent dual SIM phone with stock Android. Can't complain for the price.

Battery last a day easily and picks up 4g with decent camera. Spot on for a second phone

Excellent phone for money I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this phone, my daily driver OnePlus 3 is not much faster than this phone. Heat added.

Got one in rose gold from Gearbest on pre Sale just before it was Launched for £184, took just over a month to arrive, apart from waiting for it, no issues whatsoever, brilliant phone. Bargain for this price if you fancy waiting.

Bought many things from Bangood they arrive within expected time frame or faster. Mixed feelings about they customer service but they do reply to every email within 24h.Also they fast paying the Topcashback. Got this phone for 158 pounds last month was delivered 10 days later with 8 pounds cashback. The cashback was paid on Friday. Great phone better to the redmi note 4 imo.

Yeh, yeh, yeh, appears every thread. UNLIKELY Customs charges, you mean. Unlikely, unless you go for accelerated delivery like DHL, or similar.

Great wee phone. Had it for about a month now from GearBest as a bargain presale, had to wait - AS IT WASN'T RELEASED, so couldn't blame them! Briefly thought about a contract with a Honor 9, but cost was over £20 or so, extra a month - so thats £480 over 2 years. And this is only £160, so just do the sums, it's a no brainer. Will get another equivalent model Xiaomi, in a year or 18months, and again another similar period after that, and will still be ahead on the cash front compared to the 'flagships'.

Recieved all the offical Android security paches for it already, so all up to date. Happy. Oreo (Android v8 to come soon too.
