Xiaomi Mi A1 Dual Sim 64GB 4G Unlocked @ eglobalcentral UK STOCK - £168.77

I know it's not the cheapest, but this is UK stock I believe? I ordered from geekbuying 3 months ago and only got it a few days ago, and had to pay £42 for customs. This would have been more than £30 cheaper for me, and I would have received it much sooner.

eGlobal ships from Hong Kong to a UK address and then forwards it to you.

What's the delivery time for this retailer?

6-8 days apparently
I bought the A1 from AliExpress on singles day which too about two and a half weeks. A family member saw it and wants one but wasn't sure if I was better buying one from ebay, China direct or a UK seller.

EGlobalcentral is also a Chinese/HK seller so same import duty , delivery , lack of warranty problems as with the rest of them .

Thanks for the clarification.
I've bought a few things from eglobal, including this phone, and haven't had import duties. Delivery has been 10 days or less. I can recommend the phone which is about to be updated to oreo.

if only this phone also had the MIUI OS instead of just stock android
Excellent phone for the money, I got one for my Mum and I must admit it is an excellent phone, and supposedly it will get Android 8.0 Oreo before the end of the year. Heat added.

The Xiaomi Mi 5x is the same phone with MIUI.

Nope. Subtle differences. Hence why no devs have managed to get the miui ROM working on the A1.
So there is no warranty with these?
Tempted, I keep telling myself I'm going to wait for the new Redmi, I'm coming from someone who's had the Redmi Note 3 for a good few years, it's been faultless. A (very) average camera has always been its only flaw.
Looks like they've fixed that with this handset.

I thought you could port the A1 to the 5x tho?
So what are we thinking? Worth getting, upgrade from a Redmi Note 3 pro?
So is there no warranty with this?

I rather buy phone with Google Android One ROM and not any any Chinese ROM with Chinese apps and Chinese viruses. The biggest problem I have had with Chinese phones is their version of Android. Wish it was more like Windows where you can a clean install without the unwanted programs and viruses.

The camera isn't like a £500-£600 flagship phone but it's very good compared to other phones around this price and it stands up well to more expensive phones as well.

My Xiaomi Mi Band is showing Heathrow since September, still not received
Don't bother engaging with geekbuyer, open up a PayPal (did you pay PayPal?) dispute.

No Warranty, if it fails or you lose it buy another. It's less than appleCare+ if you get my drift.

I think the prices would be bumped up somewhat. I'd rather them stay as they are and get better deals

I'm so jealous, can't bring myself to jump from RN4 to this. What's the battery life like? Mine is 4000ma and lasts day and a half. Waiting for the five note now
