Small update on eGlobal warranty:

Some of eGlobal's listings state that they are including a 2 year Official Xiaomi warranty on their sales. I had a live chat conversations with Xiaomi yesterday, they said eGlobal are not one of their official resellers, but that doesn't mean the warranty would necessarily be invalid. What they said was by using the phones IMEI number, you can check that your phone is authentic, and what warranty it has by using the following link:
mi.com/glo…ify

Be good to hear back from anyone who has bought from eGlobal recently what warranty details show up. Obviously if they confirm its definitely a 2 year full Xiaomi warranty, that will make buying from eGlobal much more appealing.

I'd be wary of buying this without warranty. I bought same phone in July from mi store. At the end of August, I switched it on in the morning and it wouldn't boot up. Returned via Xiaomi. It couldn't be repaired,so they ordered replacement. Engineers checked it over, and that one was faulty too.. Took three weeks to resolve, but now have it back. This is a great phone for the cash, and an upgrade for me. Kids today are so lucky if this is considered a starter phone. My kids had Nokia bricks and were grateful

Especially since it's android one so this should get 10 when it's out maybe more.

I'd be happy with a note range at this price me and the Mrs now really like miui, think I'd rather have miui for when I get the kids some handsets need to replace the eldest iPhone se at somepoint more when it's battered and bruised lol.
Red versions of Redmi's are not often on sale. Nice price.
Voted hot. I bought the 6gb / 128gb from Mi.com

The only concerns are,
Will it be supported for much longer?
The newer Xiaomi phones are not much more with newer better cameras and processors, although I don't think the newer ones are as well built.
Bargain!

Interesting info, cheers. If they ARE covered for 2 years I would imagine that would effect the genuine UK sellers like JL, ebuyer and, yes, Xiaomi themselves.

Got the 6gb/128gb for £154 from mi store. Good phone, only slight let down is battery life.

I also emailed eGlobal, make of their response what you will!

I am in the UK and I'm thinking of ordering a Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite from your website. I want to check if I understand the 2 year warranty correctly. Are you saying that I can send the phone to the manufacturer Xiaomi in Europe for repairs under the 2 year warranty?

Please don't send me links to read, I've looked on the website already, I just need to know how good the warranty is before I order.

Kind regards,

Mike

So in-house warranty could be anywhere! If it was europe, they would have highlighted this to use as a selling point
Yeah the Mi 9 Lite which I was looking at and specifically asked them about, which looks an amazing phone especially at eGlobals price actually shows:

The Mi A2 lite has a bigger battery. 4000mah as opposed to 3000mah so should last about 33% longer. I recently bought one from Clove technology when they were on offer. Battery lasting about 2 days at least but of course depends on the use/user. The one I bought was 4gb/64gb but 3gb/32gb also available. Seems a good solid mobile.

Price matters as well. If same price , I will choose 855. snapdragon 865 will be out soon. Kirin 990 already out . Why buy lower spec at higher price

Nice one!.

I won't even ask you where you got the link of this: mi.com/glo…ify from?, hehehehe.

But it's something that's DEFINATELY worth bookmarking still ... lol.

Thanx.
OP .. "and in red".

Yeh, the red one is soooooooo sexxy like, huh?, hehehe.

I only wish that some of it's other non-UK (China, Hong Kong, India, etc), phone colours transended into the UK market too, etc?.

Eg. Rose Gold, Gold, Red, Blue, and so on, and so forth?.

As 'generic' black, and/or 'generic' silver/grey allllll the time like that, can sometimes get/become a wee bit tedious after a wee while like? lol.

Just saying ...

Here's hoping.
