Rubbish comparison: Grey market A3 v legit UK A2
Hdses12119/11/2019 21:39

What's better, this or the Mi A3?

Mi A3 is better as it has a larger battery, headphone jack and a newer more energy efficient processor and screen and can be had for under 120 pound on eglobal for the 4/64 model or under 135 for the 4/128 model, three colour choices and a far better camera.

I think A2 is stock android, yes?
What's the battery life like on these? Its this and no headphone jack making me hesitate. Otherwise great specs!

The A3 is cheaper

It's not rubbish at all I just gave options, people can make there own choices.Ive used eglobal over ten times in last five years and I've never had any issues,I've had far more issues with UK retailers.

Never said it was better I said it was more power efficient, which it is.However I'd rather have the 720 amoled then the dull 1080 screen on the mi A2 I've had that phone and that screen is poor,at least the mi A3 screen has some character and is far more power efficient.

No... Better screen, less pixels
With Android One....does that mean this phone has ordinary Android lockscreen notifications that you can pull down to read and reply to and stuff. And does it mean that your can use Android Smart Unlock to allow it to be unlocked via Bluetooth by devices other than Xiaomi devices?

I did not know screens have character
I looked into both the A2 and A2 lite last year for the wife. The lite won because of the battery alone. 4000 mah to 3010 mah. And believe me, you will not notice anything different apart from the battery life.
Any phone over 4gb/64gb is ample these days.

Not in any way going to say it's better. But the offset of a connection type, for a 33% bigger battery, was a major factor for me. It charges quicker on my mix 2 fast charger than her charger.
Also the lite has a notch, which she preferred over the top and bottom bezels of the A2. In fact they aren't even the same phone really. It's a great price for what is essentially a great phone. Either pick
The A2 is a great phone but lacks NFC, something this doesn't correct. The A3 is apparently massively underrated, but I've not felt the need to rush out for the a3, especially as the redmi note 8t has NFC and most of the best bits of both.

Xiaomi UK are likely to have decent black Friday deals, so I'd keep your powder dry, just for now, but would recommend the A2 wholeheartedly either way.
Superb price this. Stock android, 6gb ram, 128gb. A steal!
Picked one of these up for £95 on eBay new but open box, they had the lite for around the same price but went for this cause of how thick and heavy the lite is by comparison, almost 9mm thick. The A2 is very big but still feels good in the hand cause it's so thin (7.3mm) with a curved back and the build is really good. The screen looks fine to me. Also the A3 is supposed to have a nice screen colour wise but according to some reviews is very apparent that it's 720p and not 1080p. Don't think I could go back to a 720p screen.
No SD card?
