Still stands as the A3 isn't linked in the get deal link I guess!

You/Anyone will be fine MrZ, if you pay via CC and / or verified paypal and ALL your details for the payment option you choose, match the eGlobal account ones exactly, yes the shipping is a bit odd and can delay the items, with all the broken Chinglish emails and updates, but not had any issues from them and as you can see from my 3 recent S10+ deals from them, we even had HUKD members uploading there order tracking and giving us a diary of updates, as they received their items!
Don't forget TCB

Is the CC9e really being branded as the A3? I would have thought it be A3 Lite with the CC9 being the A3?
I was hoping for a CC9 global version with stock Android. What are the chances?

I'm probably not the best one to ask tbh, but @dreadzone101 thinks the CC9e is gonna be the standard A3, and the CC9 being called the pro or whatever.

I thought the same as you CC9e Mi A3 lite/CC9 Mi A3

Global Version will be here soon, too many rumours fir it not to be.
Edited by: "MrSwitch" 16th Jul
A3 will also apparently will be available from Xiaomi on Amazon Spain, from tomorrow.

There are already two listed sellers on Amazon ES which I think will be Chinese importers or people just chancing the final European spec will be as predicted..

Unless they pull a last minute surprise out of the bag, seems A3 will be cc9e. Fingers crossed for a Pro version at a decent price, that would be awesome.

The A3 Pro is the CC9 and the A3 is the CC9e, both are only for the Western market, both will have Android 9 Pieface stock on them

See retail box photos here< which basically confirms CC9e = Mi A3

As for the CC9. See comment here<. My guess is that if it does get Android One Global Version, it won't be available initially since there is no certification matching it yet. However it might possibly be released in future as "Mi A3 Pro".

There'll be more info tomorrow as it's supposedly launching in Spain. This pops up when you visit the Spain Mi Site<

Great stuff thanks dreadzone101! Looks like some of your predictions have come true so far so here's hoping for a full house!
I need to get rid of this iPhone 6s. The battery life now is just shocking!! Gonna jump over to Android for first time...
Toss up between Mi 9T and CC9 (Mi A3 Pro). They do seem very similar so could just buy Mi 9T now but figure might as well wait and even if I do decide on the Mi 9T, the price will probably have come down a bit more by the time any Mi A3 Pro is released.
ok now im confused whats the cc9e i did a quick search seems like is has more ram at 6gb but otherwise this a3 is a rebrand of it right?...
is it cos u want a rebranded cc9 which is presumably faster? can u not buy that then - the cc9, is it a region locked thing or something?

The cc9e has 4GB RAM, a 665 Processor and a 720p screen.
The cc9 has 6GB RAM, a 710 Processor and a 1080p screen.

This Mi A3 is a straight rebrand of the cc9e but for the global market with an international rom and android one instead of MIUI.

The cc9 doesn't have the correct bands for UK sim use.
Have to wait for the Mi A3 Pro or whatever they want to call it which should come eventually....

And how long its take for it to appear, there isn't even any certification for it yet, going to be awhile.

I'm surprised. So last year's A2 Lite has better screen resolution?

Let's wait and see, launch event's today. My guess is there's a FHD+ screen. Hope I'm right

That’s that then! Thanks for the link 🏻
Its almost as if they are intentionally gimping the A3 to push forward MIUI

Who the hell is going to pay €249 for a 720p screen, are they stupid!!
Edited by: "winchman" 17th Jul
The Xiaomi Mi A3 will go on sale with the following prices:
- 4GB RAM / 64GB -249 euros (available July 24)
- 4GB RAM / 128GB - 279 euros (reserved July 24)

These are the standard listed 'full' prices.

The retail packaging confirms the 48MP camera and triple rear camera setup (along with 32MP front camera). It also confirms the 4030 mAh battery, 18W fast charging, in-display fingerprint scanner, 6.08-inch AMOLED display, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 665.

But only a HD + screen, i.e 720p.

Idiots, 1560 x 720....
Yes its amoled and has a good camera but even so..
Maybe they feel being Amoled and with phone screens being smalll, 720p will be fine. But it seems like an own goal to me. Fingers crossed for a Pro version with Snapdragon 710+ and improved display.
So is this the lite version, or the standard?
Disappointing. If they took the A2 Lite, and just improved it's camera, add NFC, modern SoC, extra 2GB RAM that would have been more appealing.
tonymcg17/07/2019 16:09

looks like a lite, marketed as a standard.
