I've got it and it's not as problem. The advantages of an OLED screen more than make up for it.

At this price, it's an absolute bargain for what you get. Pure Android with the latest security updates, slowly rolling out Android 10 too. Camera is brill.

Highly recommend.
I got a refund

Oh good. No better than ordering from Gearbest or AliExpress now.

It wouldn't surprise me though if customs have stopped one eglobal/skynet parcel on it's arrival in UK that they have stopped the whole batch of them dispatched on the 19th.I wonder whether it is even true or a delaying tactic. Why would they reship or refund if customs are holding it? I always thought it would be up to the recipient to pay the customs charge to release the goods this side?

Yeah to be honest sounds like a delay tactic, have a feeling that the missing ones are just on slow boat and will be here in normal Chinese delivery times. And the people who have theirs who seemed to order afterwards were shipped normal method as they received stock to the normal warehouse so got theirs alot sooner.

And yes as far as I was aware customs check goods over if illigal they seize them but if just undervalued on customs form then send on and you have to pay the duty plus a fee.

All speculation I know but does seem all bit suspect, just wish they could be more open and honest and keep you updated but guess you get what you pay for

What are normal Chinese delivery times like?
So anyone asking for a refund yet?

I've asked for an update from them. I fully expect to get the customs related one above. Assuming I do I'll check if it is stuck with Hong Kong or UK customs and maybe decide what to do at that point.

Please let me know what they say
After chasing them I received the following:

"Please accept our apologies as sometimes the processing time takes longer than anticipated due to the number of shipments sent to the U.K. from Hong Kong.
However, we have requested that the logistics team chase up your order. We hope that your delivery now goes faster.

After the order arrives in the UK, the order is sent to your local courier, who can deliver within a few days. They will also update the tracking link when they receive their package"

No mention of customs. I've replied asking them to confirm if it has actually left Hong Kong and to confirm how-land, sea or air?

I sent my query as a 'ticket' and an e-mail. Am not sure which they chose to reply to or if there is effectively any difference at their end.
Reply took a couple of days.

Well done. I emailed them 2 days ago and still nothing.

Wow got to love it when they give many different stories!

Have feeling that all this waiting will result in nothing and will have to persue a refund, next they will be blaming Christmas for the delay and will be waiting into the new year...
I ordered a Redmi Note 8T on eBay while waiting, from a 'UK seller', only to find this is also now coming from Hong Kong

I don't know why but the ''raise a ticket'' link doesn't work for me.

Oh yes, on November 8th to be extra safe. Had family over from abroad who now went back last week... Rage

Looks the eBay seller is easily going to win this race. The Redmi Note 8T is already with Parcel Force in the North West and should be here by Monday
EGlobal must be shipping by canoe.
Anyone receive any updates?

They stopped replying to my e.mails so I messaged them via Paypal resolution centre but they still don't reply.
If it's not randomly here tomorrow morning I'm going for the refund. What a disappointment this has been.

Did you get a reply? They're ignoring my messages, even via Paypal resolution centre which is a bit worrying.

Same!!!
I raised a dispute with PayPal.

They haven't once responded to me.

It was a birthday gift for my little cousin and he's been eagerly waiting for his first phone and it's been almost a month now.
Had I known that, I would have ordered it from Ali express for much cheaper.

I got thr 128gb version of it
Same here, no response from PayPal resolution centre. PayPal suggests waiting a couple days. It will be 2 days this evening so I will then go for the refund.

With all the experience people have had with eglobal has anyone experienced this ghosting before?

It does make me wonder if this is a part of the business model. Every once in a while just pocket the money and not send any product, not everyone will have PayPal or other sources of back up...

No further reply yet. I've sent them another message this morning chasing.
I've decided to raise a claim with Paypal. Ideally I'd rather have the phone but in the circumstances I had no choice.

Think I'm going to have to start googling how to do a credit card chargeback. As I've chased again this morning, I'll probably give it until the end of the week to see if there is any change.
I escalated my claim with PayPal today as had no response from them, says that should have response in next week but to allow up till 1st of January.

Hopefully they just give straight forward refund or deliver the phone but not holding out much hope on that anymore.

Now need to find another phone for my partner as she damaged hers on bonfire night and been using a really old HTC phone since and I get asked every day if there any update

Shame as used them in past and was amazing service and price will definitely think twice before using them again in future.

So we all might as well escalate our claims if we need to wait for the new year.
Interestingly, I bought a Fuji lens from EGlobalCentral three weeks after I ordered the Mi A3 and that arrived yesterday, via a different courier service (not Skyenet).

Something has gone wrong here methinks. Will need to do a credit card chargeback.
Looks like there's at least 11 of us on here who are still awaiting a Mi A3. I'm assuming that the tracking is at the same point for everyone i.e. In Transit to destination?

Yes, same here. Days outstanding : 21
I've now escalated with PayPal. The are giving eglobalcentral until the 27th of December to respond and expect resolution on January 1st.

If in some strange twist you are refunded and then the package arrives sometime down the line do you have to pay back eglobalcentral?

I assume so - I believe it's called fraud.

:/ Is it though? One could argue about a reasonable amount of time for delivery being carried in to the sale.

Anyway it's extremely unlikely this will happen to anyone.
