Some Xiaomi Mi AirDots for £12.40 delivered from China. There have been a few problems with fakes for these across Amazon, ALiE, Gearbest, etc, but this seller has great feedback and gives good advice on how to check the AirDots are genuine. So it seems legitimate.

Buying from China can be a struggle, and is sometimes a disappointment as you have waited for so long for the item to ship. I have had good stuff from AliExpress though, unlike Wish, its sellers get back to you promptly and often refund if there is a problem.

Are these the same as the soundpeats, just rebranded?
Also, bit of a longshot, but does anyone own these as well as the QCY QS2s and the Haylou GT1s and can offer an opinion based on direct comparison? I recently lost my GT1s on holiday. So disappointed, they were great except for the inconsistent touch response and slippery texture. Looking to get another pair of TWS headphones. All the above are a similar price. I'm mainly concerned about build quality, sound quality and compactness of the case (not so bothered about super long battery life, touch vs non-touch controls or other bells and whistles).

I haven't owned those you mentioned but here's a link with reviews comparing some of them scarbir.com/tws…iew
I have the Tronsmart (which the reviewer puts on a par with the Haylou gt2) and highly recommend them.

I’ve owned the GT1’s and now have the QC2. Not a huge difference in terms of sound quality but much prefer the QCY’s for the build quality, more solid case and physical buttons.

Me too, not sure what's the problem
I have a genuine set of these purchased from the Xiaomi store in HK for £15.

Problem I have is the left earbud loses connection very easily. I've pin pointed it to external interference (numerous underground stations). But not sure if its because there is a fault with my set. At home its fine.

At £15 I don't mind buying another set when I am in HK end of this month and giving it a second chance, to see if it is a problem with interference of my first set are faulty. Really can't be bothered to do a warranty claim over £15.
Ordered the pair i use in the gym on ebay for £18 and they are brilliant for the price. Ordered some from ali express for £12.40 in October for my son for xmas, never turned up. asked for a refund and the seller gave it straight away so im not sure if they ever sent them despite giving a postage reference. Reordered off ebay from the seller i brought from before and they came within 2 days. If you do not want to wait to see if these turn up from china then order from this link. rover.ebay.com/rov…250

Does your xiaomi airdots bought from ebay seller match with the originalitycheck as described by aliexpress in the above link ?
Cold from me.

Haylou GT1 are £1 more and FAR better. I had a pair of Mi airdots which are similar to this and the haylou's sound better, have the GT1 Pro's which the only difference is a larger case and compared to the airdots i get better sound, better battery.

The redmi Airdots also only support SBC while the haylou support AAC which sounds better.

Shipping took 13 days for me from the Haylou Aliexpress store

They seem to be originals, match everything like the text on the back, the l and the r on each AirDots, the packaging and the logo in the instruction manual .
I also compared with some videos like this one.

google.co.uk/url…wnH

I also prefer ebay for the PayPal security
Fwiw bear in mind if fake PayPal will insist of sending the airdots back to China will be be cost prohibitive and as such you will loose the PayPal claim as I discovered recently.
I have B5s from this deal hotukdeals.com/dea…110 and overall they are fine but keep losing connection in crowded places like Euston, and recently also from head movements. Any budget alternative which wouldn't suffer from these issues and have touch controls (this one doesn't?)

Thanks for the time taken to explain and it clears my doubts, I may order from ebay.
Just bought some from Ebay for £9 as the pictures appeared genuine.. UK seller and delivery was quick. The charger box passes the fake test.. however 3 things fail. The L & R are embossed and should be smooth. There's no serial number on the neck under the rubber adaptors.. and the rubber adaptors are black and should be opaque.
Having said that they work great

That's a good question
Myself and my husband have the haylou gt2s and cannot fault them.
Are you able to buy directly from Xiaomi online?
Thanks

£9 on eBay...

Exactly... bought 2 months ago for just under £9 from eBay, from a seller based in China. I've been using them ever since and couldn't be happier. They arrived in 11 days since placing an order. Why advertise it from AliExpress if they can be bought for around 30% less dosh from eBay (and also from CH)?

Why cold though? I understand your preference but that doesn't make it a cold deal.

Because better buds exist for the same price

Literally everyone online who has used both buds say the haylou are superior. YouTube reviews and fourms. Including me who has used the very similar mi airdots

And £12.40 isn't really a special price for these buds, have seen it cheaper or very similar price for weeks and months now

Just received two of the same for roughly the same price. After inspection I think mine are fake too, but definitely an upgrade to the one I saw online. I'm testing them as I write this and they seem ok,initial connection was fine, range is fine, play pause button works. Sound is mediocre at best but for the price I can't really complain.

Yes, and if you press one of the buds twice it activates Google assistant so you can ask to change volume, play another song or even ask about the weather ...

I got the mpow ones for my wife. They cost a bit more but I kept reading that they were the best. They sound great and when they work they are great but they keep not working! She has to delete them from the Bluetooth settings and reconnect to get them working again. Once working they work perfectly for that session but when she comes to use them a few days later she has to pair them again.

Using an mi A1.

I might try a pair of these to see if they work better on the connectivity side of things with them both being the same make.
Has anyone else received theirs yet? As someone who got caught with fakes on the gearbest deal, I've inspected them carefully. The cardboard box looks OK, the id is on each earbud, the lid opens to 90 degrees, and the silicone is translucent. Unfortunately the text under the case is white and clear, and the right and left side indicator look embossed. I don't want to try them as they're for someone else, but can anyone who knows more about them let me know what they received

have the same issue in the gym, left one cuts out all the time whilst listening to music, also they seem to loose balance as well... a bit annoying having to reset them constantly.

I've tried 2 pairs of MPOW and have to agree they are great when they work. No issues with pairing but every so often the interference is annoying.
