Bigger screen I suppose.

Plus built in gps (vs connected gps) and onboard music storage. Looks like a decent improvement over a mii band imo.
Review from November 2017.
The initial release price was around the same mark as this deal.

Screen supposedly dire which is what put me off, plus does it have built in Bluetooth to use headphones? Music storage would seem pointless if not

Yeah I think Bluetooth is pretty much standard on all smart watches. The question is probably does it have a built in music player but I’m guessing it must have or the storage would be pointless.

I have a mii band, battery on that thing is insane.

It has both built in Bluetooth and a music app. You can connect to a computer using the charger cable move the MP3 files across. Not as good as have play music or Spotify but still good if want to go run using GPS to track and leave your phone.

Screen is nice actually, yes you connect via bluetooth, on board GPS as others have said, sync to Strava is that is of interest - well worth it imo
Transfer music WiFi in amazfit app, pacefactor ROMs xda developer, can reply to messages after installing, obviously warranty void. Great battery still going strong nearly 2 year now.
Can pair polar H10 heart rate strap but select in individual activity modes under settings
I've had this watch for almost 2 years, and recommend it. Although the screen is not as bright as flagship smartwatches, it's still good enough. Unlike other watches, it has an always-on display, which lasts about 5 days (with GPS off). This was one of the main reasons I bought it.

I use it as a daily watch and as a running watch. I've connected my Bluetooth chest heart rate monitor with no problems. The Amazfit mobile app is adequate, providing decent metrics for my runs (more detail than Runkeeper) The built-in heart rate monitor is adequate for normal usage, but not good for excerices (due to sweat affecting the wrist sensor). Virtually all smartwatches have the same issue.
