That's if you a actually receive it or that it works oO merry Christmas you filthy animal, I might just order one, heated, I think oO
I think this one is still the 1st gen. 2nd gen has HRM.

I think this one is still the 1st gen. 2nd gen has HRM.

2ng gen only had white LEDs whereas the 1st had multi coloured. the one with the heart rate monitor is the 1S
nowt wrong with gearbest, it a great bit of kit and an excellent price, saves being a Muppet and paying £60 for a fitbit or other main brand. I'd personally pay the extra and get the 1s as it still dirt cheap compared to the overpriced ones. plus the battery lasts a month which the fitbit of the world can only dream of
This is a variant of the first Mi Band, but has only white led's, no choice of colour for leds. It has no heart rate monitor.
The new Mi Band 1S has a heart rate monitor (as well as white-only leds). Confused? Mmmmmm.
Ordered, just for the vibration alarm, seems decent.

Gearbest...They allow orders for out of stock products, do not tell you they cannot ship and rely on you logging on to your account to check. They they increase the price of the product, claiming it is in stock and refund you when you ask and you get less due to currency fluctuations. So, may be I was unlucky.
Will this vibrate for sms & whatsapp & Facebook messenger notifications as well? Would be tempted if so. Nthanks in advance
Original band is also tpsiv. This is a straight downgrade. Exactly the same as the original but instead of multicoloured LEDs, only white. Look for the real original of you can find it, or the 1s if you care about heart rate sensing.

It will....but it's limited to notifications from three apps only in the official Mi Band apps for Android and iOS. You can install a modified version of the Android app that allows unlimited apps, although it doesn't work at the moment with this model. But there's a band of enthusiastic programmers for the Mi Band so I'm sure it will be updated.
I've bought four of these now. One for me and little Christmas presents for the family. I love it! The vibration isn't enough to wake me in the morning but then most alarms aren't. Heavy sleeper! It seems accurate to me and I love the call notification and sleep monitor.

Don't bother if you are looking for accurate sleep monitoring or step counting. I wear one all the time, it's hilarious. Battery lasts well.

There's also this app, which claims support for the 1S - £1.29. I use it alongside my Mi Band 2.

This is my 4thorder never had problems with them...
I'm thinking about the 1S for £15.49?

Has anyone used on of these? Does the heart rate monitor work okay?
Says flashsale is over for me
I ordered a flashlight from them a few months back. I am Still fighting to get my money back because i did not receive it.
Did they ever fix the software ? Mine stopped logging my sleep and would only work as a notification device, so its in a drawer somewhere. Took forever for the battery to run out
I got the 1s 2 weeks ago from gearbest and it's stopped working after 1 week. Won't sync to iPhone no matter what I do. Tried unpairing tired it on different device. Nothing.

Leds won't light up when u do the watch gesture.
It'll vibrate when u try locate it but nothing else even when fully charged. If anyone has a fix id appreciate it

I've had a mi band pretty much since release and I really like it. Here's what I've found with the heart monitor;

While Running;
-If you start a running activity, the heart rate monitoring will be continuous until you stop the activity. It will give you an average heart rate at the end of the run. I run my preferred run tracker (runkeeper) at the same time. At the end of the run I edit the runkeeper activity to add my average heart rate. There is no provision to extract all the data, or see a graph, you only get the average heart rate. You need to have your phone with you while you run.
-You can set an alert to warn you if you reach a particular heart rate. I set it too low when I tried it and it was buzzing every minute or so and was very annoying. I read Chris Ryan's SAS fitness a couple of years ago and it suggested that you could exercise vigorously until hitting a target heart rate, and then 'rest' for a bit, before bringing yourself back up to your target heart rate. I need to do some research as there's a lot of conflicting info about heart rate zones, but this could be a useful feature.

While Sleeping
-There is an option to sporadically check your heart rate while sleeping. This promises to provide more accurate sleep tracking, at the expense of a bit of battery. There is no visual difference to the sleep graph.

User Activated
-You can use the app to ask the band to check your pulse whenever you like. I've had a few erroneous results but on the whole it's accurate.

If you are not going to run with your phone (and you are not bothered about more accurate sleep tracking) I would suggest either not upgrading or buying a generation 1 mi band. You can check your pulse using your smart phone camera and an app (I use instant heart rate for android, but there's a plethora of options) Not upgrading will afford you better battery life.

I have a third party leather effect band which I bought for my original band, the 1s fits in the band perfectly.

I'd no idea you could download a heart rate monitor which worked with your camera... I was so jealous of my mate's S6 cos it has one built in! That is so cool and it's very accurate too.
Thank you so much for that.

Who is?

Xiaomi (The manufacturer) is famous for "borrowing" ideas and designs from western companies. I'm a bit of a XIaomi fan-boy and have several of their products (headphones, mi-band, scales, battery pack etc) all of them are very well made and are cheap enough that if they didn't work I'd be annoyed, but it would only be a minor inconvenience.

Gearbest look to be a very big supplier of products to the west, it would seem it would not be in their interest to sell fake or counterfeit goods as it would harm their reputation and affect their sales.
Tried the discount code for the heart rate version but unfortunately instead of reducing price it increases it!!!
Price increased to £10

These companies are all based in China and sell fake products from aliexpress, good luck. The description is already wrong due to that this is not no 2, its no one, it screams fake and will never work, but you keep buying this crap from china!!!
