Xiaomi Mi Band 2 Smart Watch (CHINESE VERSION) £16.30 - Gearbest

Found 18th Mar
I have been keeping an eye out for a reasonable price on this HUKD favourite - this doesn't seem too bad.

Yes, it's been cheaper previously and, yes,it's not the (preferable?) 'International' Version but still a good deal for those wanting one right now (or in about 4 weeks )

Cos, unless you're unlucky it's not junk and good value as an activity tracker!
Also, never had any probs with gearbest.

Just a word of warning. There seem to be quite a few of these with dodgy (very dim) displays. I bought 2 and one is affected. Hoping for a reply from Xiaomi. There appears to be no resolution online.
Why do people buy this Chinese junk from GearWorst

Junk? I have no issue with mine. Does everything it needs to.
Mine was is the Chinese version - not sure what the difference is though. It displays what it should. Connects to what it should

Buy it and you'll find out. Who can say fairer than that?

Well worth it for this price, it's been cheaper but not for a long time that I've seen. I've been looking to get one for a spare as I've had several occasions where I've nearly lost the damn thing. I'm not sure I could stomach paying through the nose for something available in the UK or going without one for a long period of time.

The only practical difference is the manual isn't English.

Manual? A good engineer doesn't need or read a manual!

'Junk' from a company that is about to be valued at circa ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS in its upcoming IPO? Educate yourself...

So far there have been no difference in functionality or updates between mine or my sons. I have the chinese and my son has the chinese one.
Junk - obviously an educated person on this particular item!
I must of been lucky - 12 months old and only been charged 7 or 8 times.
Oh yeah, wife must of been lucky as well - 8 months old and only charged about 5 times.
I've also bought stuff from them many times, from smart phones to mi band 2, had no issues what so ever.. only down side is you have to wait a few weeks.......

Because neither the product (superb) nor the seller (good, if a bit slow) are poor. Hope you're feeling like a fool for your ignorant comment because that's what you look like now!

Thanks OP. Lost my last one and been waiting for the price to drop, not as cheap as it's been in the past, but can't see it cheaper anywhere else. Ordered and heat added
Ordered, thanks OP, our second one - great devices and awesome value
The best bits of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 are the pedometer (accurate according to reviews), sleep tracking and that it vibrates when you receive a phone call/SMS (useful if your phone is in your bag in Bluetooth range, there is a do not disturb night-time setting). The heart rate monitor may not always measure accurately. It reports measurements over Bluetooth to the Mi Band app, which can pass the data on to Google Fit. It has goal tracking and a 12+ day battery life.

If you are particularly interested in heart rate, the readings need to be manually/app activated. The Mi Band 2's app (available on Android and iOS) doesn't schedule readings. There may be an iPhone app that schedules readings (there is one on Android).

Loving mine. Can't justify the limited features of something 10x the price but then that's just my use case
I've had two and lost them both due to the slippy wrist strap, so you can get compatible straps with the metal buckle that hold the band firmly.

Also I bought mine when it was £12~ish

Funny, I lost my last one too! After a day too.. fell off my wrist without me noticing till after I woke up from a nap 😭
These are cheap as the mi band 3 is about to be released soon.
Still great at the price and does everything a £70 fitbit does.
Paid an extra £7 from amazon prime. Good little unit, wife loves it.

Ive had my chinese on over 2 years now no screen issues. Did have a problem with original band holding unit in place, swapped to an aftermarket silicone and had no issues since (no clasp just same as original).
However
I got my mother an international version one for Christmas a couple of years ago too but hers is now showing the low screen light issue mentioned .
I have ordered a mi band from them delivery was a couple of weeks but very happy with the savings!
anyone suggest a decent spare wristband? mine messed up a few weeks back so i have been on the look out!
Nice find, this is a good price for one of the new leading tech brands
