Looking for a sub 200 android with a decent camera. Was thinking Xiaomi MI A1?
Any help would be apprecaited.
Any input would be appreciated
Certain 4G bands, check which bands your network provider uses and compare to the specs
Also make sure you weren't looking at reviews for the Chinese version, this is the GLOBAL version which supports more bandsIt doesn't. In this case, 'global' just refers to the global rom. The LTE bands are the same.
Ah, my mistake.

Xiaomi Devices Not Getting Android Oreo UpdateWhere is this list from?
good point. as i see Redmi 4X listed as (Controversial)?
seems here theleaker.com
"most likely to get an update to Oreo"
OK. Wondered of it was an official list. We'll just have to see.
I do not own one atm but from what reviews I've watched there is nfc present
so should be good with 4x unless everyone is getting the notifications?!
There is no NFC.
It does, but not band 20, which is what O2 uses.
That's my take on the V2 over the original, I can't see any reason to replace my Max with the V2. Dual speakers are a nice touch, had they improved the camera I'd have ordered one already.
P.s. my original Mi Max is still the best phone I've owned, the spec suits me almost perfectly.
Ordered a 2 while waiting on a new screen for my mi max 1 which I imagine will be replacing the max 2 once fixed. I couldn't see any point in upgrading the best phone I've had and using a Lenovo P2 isn't doing anything for me, I miss the big screen too much. While NFC is handy it's the max screen I need. How do people cope with a 5.5" screen?
I suspect the only one on this list to definitely get the update is Mi A1 !
I want a big phone at a reasonable price.
Yes, Im on the three network and use this phone. Bought it when it was released in Hong Kong back in the summer.
Yaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I'm sure I've asked before, but how is it the 'best' 4G band? Pint?
Get some brain boy. Wont hurt in the long run. Lower bands like 800 are better for mobile signal.
And how are they better? 'Get some brain'? Dear, oh dear. Pint?
Just got mine. Massively worth it!
Where did you order your replacement screen from? I managed to drop mine this morning and there's a very fine crack appeared, can't really see the crack but can feel it with s fingernail. I've looked at some of the feedback for some of the replacement screens on AliExpress and can't see any genuine replacement screens and some of the feedback highlights issues with the replacement screens (missing adhesive, etc).
First one was Lcd and digitiser from dragon-tt.com/xx.…346 though I caught my phone on holiday and seem to have damaged it so looking for another. I ordered a replacement with frame here m.aliexpress.com/ite…Jc1 though I am awaiting a refund as they didn't have black (been 2 weeks waiting) so currently without. The dragon unit is xiaomi Lcd and oem digitizer though didn't bond fully and had poor button illumination.
I 'should' buy this... dragon-tt.com/xx.…id=6000 original framed Lcd digitiser though it's $85 delivered. I'm currently pondering what to buy (you've seen it's a minefield) though I've a max 2 and mix 2 on order.
Received new screen today, ordered 1 Dec here...

Fitted and working, cost was $20
Thanks, as good as the original? Was going to order the dragon TT one but this is half the price.
Certainly looks good, working well and has better(more uniform) button lighting than the dragon TT screen. No colour or pixel issues though it's early days.
