Xiaomi Mi Max - 3GB / 32GB - 6.44 inch screen

First time I have seen this phone for under £150.

The gold and silver international editions are available for this price - a lot of phone for not a lot of money!

NOTE: For these type of deals from the Far East, always choose the free / cheapest delivery method to drastically reduce the chance of getting stung by VAT & courier handling fees.

Just go for it. You won't be sorry. Worth every penny

bought!

seems very decent indeed

This is a great bit of kit.
go to phone arena and. compare the size to a galaxy note 4 before you buy.

Reviews online suggest Google play stuff and DRM protected content might not work? Anyone got any experience of this?

Cheers

wonder if it has gorilla glass don't think the note 3 has it

Pretty sure it has.

Which shipping method to use?

ordered it see what its like I have had an xiaomi before the mi4 it was decent,if you get these phones for right price you can sell them on eBay and make your money back if you don't like them for some reason, but I'm confident I will like this phone especially as its international edition for less than 150

It does. I have this phone and I'm using it to type this. Simply, I love it. It scared the hell out of me when I unboxed it for the first time and its occasionally cumbersome, especially with a case but I don't think I could ever go back to a smaller one now.

At this price, for such a beast.

It is and it doesn't help that I use an aluminium case and that increases the size slightly.

All that stuff is fine as long as you use an international rom.

What's the camera like? I couldn't keep my redmi note 3 as the camera was so poor

Ordered... Any good cases or wallets?

Decent price of kit.... would recommend It..... bigger than my Samsung Note 2.....!

That's what she said..

Does this have band 20 LTE on the international ROM? I can't seem to find it in any literature.

I have the silver international version of the phone. No issue with the play store and Google Play Music works fine with this phone.

Might you have a link to the case, assuming you'd rate it?

I have this its a great phone for the price. It wont work on o2 giff gaff or tescos bands, you will need to be a little tech savvy to put google play on so non chinese apps run. There is a static noise on these sometimes when playing video etc a well known hardware fault and navigation is a bit funky the first time a tried it. Camera is good in decent light terrible in the dark. However the screen is great and the 3 day battery outstanding.

I've never bought from geekbuying before, just paid with Paypal. Here's hoping it'll arrive here in one piece.

Geek buying is a legit store. Just takes a while for items to turn up as it's coming from Asia.

Bought a £300 camera from them 3 months ago.

I wouldn't necessarily say that the lack of Gorilla Glass on the Note 3 is a drawback...

Been running this phone for a week now.
Battery life is stunning
No chinese apps were insytalled on the international rom
It updated to Miui upon first switch on
I run Nova Launcher so it looks and runs exactly as my old Nexus 5
Camera in normal light is good, in daker situations its grainy.
No problems running Navigon as my SatNav, locks on and runs fine
Play store runs fine.
Recommended.

I was pondering whether to buy this as an upgrade over my OnePlus One, but if no Tesco support, I'm out.

I have gone for the Mi Mix 6gb ram 256gb.

anyone know if this supports 4G on three network?

I'd very much like to know this as well before I consider buying.

its pretty much xiaomi redmi note pro 3 with bigger screen

Which one should I go for?

- International edition 3gb 32gb silver
- International edition Package B Silver

What is the difference other than the price? They both show as Hong King stock.

It's only band 20 (800Mhz) which is normally missing and which is used by O2 in the main (though others use it in rural locations as it carries the signal further).

its such a shame the MIX doesn't fully support 4G in the UK the max is fine however but no where near as awesome

I buy from Geekbuying a lot, but they can be a bit slow. I didn't know we were allowed to post deals from them on here. Pity I have just bought my son a Note 3 Pro International edition (to replace the one he dropped!) as this would be perfect for his 6ft 3inches (that's his height not his hand size, by the way)

For anyone that wants more in death info or thinking of flashing with custom roms, there a whole section on XDA about the Mi Max.

Doesn't the international version come with the Global ROM, with GApps built in etc??

The Mi Mix launches today in China/HK. I'm told that the lines are already forming outside the Xiami stores!!
